I kinda like where this is headed though. Myers could possibly pitch the 8th, even if not we use proctor, and we still have farns and Mo at the top of the ladder in case this goes extra innings..

Why take that chance against Iguchi? If Joe was smart just leave Villion in against Anderson and Cintron. If he gets those 2 outs then if you want you have the option of leaving Villion into face Podsednik. Instead he has to risk Myers against Iguchi.

He cought a break because Posada threw out Anderson. Now it doesnt look as bad because he would have ended up with Proctor facing Konerko in the 8th anyway.
