Jackson and 700, I think the horses have left the barn. I would like some sort of miracle but with our team not hitting and our pitching is disarray I can only hope we have enough pride and mettle to cause some other teams as much trouble as they can. Realistically, if we can finish a dozen games over 500 I would be satisfield. All I can add to that is that Theo Epstein has his work cut out for him this off season, and he has one such season to make up for two rotten ones the past two off seasons. If he doesn't straighten out the Red Sox Ship of State he ought to be sent packing on a one way trip to Zanzibar.

JSinger must be his Momma if he thinks that Theo would survive two more years with the second highest payroll and no playoffs. IMO, he has until 2008 at most to get this train back on the tracks.
