Why couldn't the Mets just have been smart and kept Kazmir? What the hell were they thinking trading him for Zambrano?

I find it intresting. Is it just me or do the Yankees never face Kazmir but the Red Sox ALWAYS face him? I know the Yankees will get him next Saturday.

Kazmir's one weakness to this point has been his control, but the problem isn't constant, it varies from start to start. Don't worry, every time I've seen Kaz start against the Yanks, he struggles to throw the ball anywhere near the strikezone, so you can pretty much count that game as a 'W'.

With the Yankees watered down lineup, Kaz should not have any trouble as long as he can throw strike one.

This guy is the quintiscential choker when it comes to pitching against the Yanks. Don't get your hopes up about him pitching a gem. Look at his one start against them this year. Five days earlier he shuts us down in Fenway, then he pitches in the Stadium and can't find the plate while giving up 4 in 5. Oh, I'm confident he'll find a way to look like Matt Clement agaisnt our rivals, he always does.

He might have a little choker in him, but I think (make that hope) his natural ability might be able to overcome that against the weakened Yankee lineup.
