theres a kt of truth in that

its not really who you play as much as when you play them

consider baltimore last year out of the chute they were on fire then died after the break

the a's suck until june then theyre unbeatable

the stros didnt turn it on till late and the tribe almost overcame a 14 game august deficit

some teams are just unbeatable during a stretch

 

to me the mets looked like deer in the headlites till tonite when glavine showed up big

As much as it pains me to say it the Red Sox are playing some of the best baseball I have seen in a long time. Great defense, good pitching, and they have been able to score runs different ways.
