Is anyone watching this on ESPN? I've gotta say, this season I've come to enjoy games that Oral Hershiser does. He is excellent at describing the thought process that pitcher's go through.

I think Hershiser is the best color commetator in the business. Miller is my favorite PBP guy, so I'd love to see Hershiser take over for Morgan on Sunday Night Baseball.

I don't think I've ever seen as many opposing fans in Fenway as I have during this series.

It's a little less than a Yanks series, which is still a lot.

Yea, those are on a lot. They beat the Taylor Hicks jerking around like an arythmic retarded robot singing an unrelated song for a Ford commercial though, which is what we get on NESN every 3 seconds.

I've been trying to figure that commercial out since the first time I saw it which was probably over a year ago. I still haven't a clue.

It's what happens when baseball's two biggest markets are roughly 200 miles apart.

many former mets fans have come out of the closet with their recent success

that and many of the yankee fans switch sides depending on the standings

in any cxse i find mets fans more smarmy than your typical bronx fan

they come out every 5 years and proclaim their long romance since 1969 with the mets and love to mention 86 etc.. but for the most part more mets fans are mere posers as opposed to the yanks fans

Beltran!! Finally earning his money.

He's been earning it all year. He's had a very good year, especially in comparison to last season.

One run game! Loretta, you are, indeed, my hero!

edit: I also have to give props for the defensive play to end the top half of the inning. I like this whole defense thing!

Also, Papi a double! The offense is waking up!
