He should try aiming at the hitters so it'll come back into the zone, i'll always remember Lowe using it in the 03 ALDS.

 

Yeah, if you want it to occasionally be hit out of the park that's what you would do. Otherwise, as a strikeout/swing and miss pitch it is much more effective the way he is throwing it, start it out in the zone and let it duck out and away (or down and in to lefties). He's pitching pretty conservatively.

 

I imagine as he gets more control he will start including one that starts at the batter and breaks down, but I imagine Tek doesn't want to risk one of those to good MLB hitters.
