one word, Wow

Heres a guy attempting a big comeback, he's pitching very well. A comebacker hits the knee he has had the most trouble with. This might be the career-ending injury... If so, thanks for everything Boomer :(

ya this kinda sucks, he was pitching well and he looked like he might be able to come back and pitch good this season. And now this happens, too bad for him, especially since this is most likely his last game of his career.

Well, i think Wells is done... i really hope not cuz when he was good he was really good

well i guess i tip my hat to him if that is the end for him

Wow, this could set up for a Clemens return to the Red Sox, if I remember corectly Clemens said he would look into joining a team espically if some one went down.

meanwhile' date=' in jolly news, tomorrow is my 1 month anniversary here, i know, seems like longer, but i have the 65th most posts here.[/quote']

Post count doesn't matter. At all.

ouch, wow, did it sublux or hyperextend on him?

No, tough camera angle though. Just shooting from the hip here i would say he makes his next start---pretty bad bruise but didn't look like it did much damage. (what do i know sitting here though) Also the trajectory of the ball tells me that his knee didn't absorb all the force of the ball. He'l be hurting but i don't think it ends his career!

just my $.02

f***. Can't he just stay in Texas where he belongs.

couldnt tell, but he cant put any pressure on it

that isnt good at all. I need to see it, but that knee was hanging on by a friggin thread and direct trauma could totally ruin him. Even though he is a red sox and I dont mind when they have adversity, this is the LAST thing I want to see. Boomer will always be a yankee to me, and even when he is in the sox uni, I never want to see harm come to him. Go get em boomer, I hope this isnt it.....

First you break up the mojo of the gamethread and now you are counting posts---not looking too good there guy!

Lester, Hansen, Clemens... any one would be fine. Let's just stop pretending that DiNardo and Wells are going to get us to the playoffs.

ya i was actually going to just post the same thing. The sox desperately need to find another starter or 2 and Clemens would be a nice fit.
