He has never had composure, but he seems to have a plan out there, and he is using his stuff in the right spots. He still isnt locating all that well as shown by his high walk rate, but he has been getting huge outs from GREAT hitters all yr....

probably. Farns has been pretty good, but he is not a guy to bring into a sticky situation. Kinda like Timlin, dont expect him to clean up someone else's mess, but he wont usually make his own mess...

Good stuff is nice, but you have to locate it. Look at Beckett in Cleveland, Verlander a couple of weeks ago, and Felix Hernandez pretty much every start other than his last one. If he's really been missing spots all year and still getting very good hitters out, then he's been pretty lucky. Skill/talent holds up, luck usually doesn't.
