I don't watch FSN too much, but I saw a commercial for a show talking about the Red Sox/Yankees rivalry. It starts tonight at 11 PM ET and lasts an hour and a half. I believe it will come on every Monday. Anyone know anymore about it? I am not sure if it is worth a damn or not.

Not really, Rivernator's threads try to be serious but everyone laughs at them (ex: Sox stumbling into yankee series), when SFIT just sort of cuts to the chase and gets straight to the blasting.

Let's PLEASE not let every thread turn into a fight. Splitting threads is the MOST tedious thing I have to do here, and every time I have to do it I get really pissed off.

I'll explain it quickly and to the point: My team (the Boston Red Sox) are better than his/her team (the New York Yankees) since we both joined talksox. I remind Rivernator of this fact continually, pointing out stats such as Jeter's BA at Fenway or whatever subject I am bashing his team about. In return, Rivernator is real clever and makes a comment about the state of Texas. There is no "deal" between us. I always get the best of TheRivernator, making him/her look like a jackass. My team is better. Simple grammar you faggot. I would make a crack about Texas here, but what the hell, it might be time to be original and consider for once that your hick upbringing might have no bearing on how f***ing retarded you truly are. We could go into this further, but I'll say this, look at the standings and who is on top right now. After this series, we'll know who is better right now. Anway, back to topic: It should be interesting seeing the show tonight. Personally, I am waiting to see what they have to see about the resurgence of the rivalry in the 90's. About the earliest I can remember of Red Sox baseball is probably the '96 or '97 season. I envy some of you older guys who have gotten to see some great Red Sox players play.

And what's this crap about YOU being on top of the division, Riv? As long as the MLB standings say -- GB for the Boston Red Sox, you aren't on top of s***. I don't care if YOU go by the loss column, because it has no relevance whatsoever to the real MLB standings. It's a tie for first place. End of story.
