The one argument I have with something like that is a Yankee game is just another game...it means as much as the Baltimore game today. Not to mention the Yankees have not seen Manny Delcarmen....that could work for a team where we bring in a guy with a 95 mph fastball and a wicked curve....if they aren't going to use him I suggest sending him back down to get more work and get better

Let's say that the Yankees win today, then if the sox win against Balt, then they neutralize that win and there is no groudn gained or lost, and if they lose, they fall one game behind. Now, in a yankee red sox game, if the red sox win, they go one game up, if the yankees win, the sox fall one game behind. There is no status quo option and the best to worst case scenario is 2 games apart instead of one in the other scenario...
