Yay! We replace one horrible reliever with another horrible reliever. I'd almost take Seanez over Van Buren, and certainly take him over Tavarez.

 

But whatever.

Maybe they are looking to work out a trade for him.

ya its really sad how this went. i really thought taverez and seanez would be solid for the sox. im still in shock every once in awhile when i really think about how bad they have done this season.

Nah. JVB got called up yesterday, but they are calling up Javier Lopez today, and sending JVB back down again.

 

Too bad it worked out that Breslow got sent back on Friday because I’d much rather see him recalled over Javier Lopez. Would it be too transparent if JVB developed some “illness” that required a 15 day stint on the DL which would allow a quicker recall for Breslow?
