Well, at least BloomsTomb says so. He thinks the Rocket will sport a 4+ ERA in the AL East and is comparing him to the likes of Kevin Brown. Too bad he wasn't the Yankees GM or else the Sox would have Roger in their hands.

I got banned from that site and blooms tomb was a major reason. I got drunk one night and cussed up everyone and their mother on that site. It is so bad that I cannot even visit the yes homepage, as my IP is blocked....

No reason to even go there to begin with. The people over there have an average age of 14 and know nothing about baseball other than Derek Jeter.

So I figured out. It is so funny though, most yankee sites are very mod strict and will ban anyone who cusses. Boston's language actually relies upon the f-word and s*** so having a swear blocker will ruin every post. I like it here!! :thumbsup:

Even though you're a bit annoying with your pro-Yankee posts in the game threads, I like most of your posts on here. They are very well backed and well thought out. Glad you got away from the ignorance of the YES Boards. :thumbsup:

I share similar doubts about Clemens. Any way you cut it the guy old, and when was the last time a guy did better in the AL than he did in the NL? I'm wary about Rocket.

Kevin Millwood

He was pretty phenominal last year until about mid-August, then he ran out of gas. And it wasn't only against NL competition, as his interleague ERA was under 1 (granted, it was only 2 starts). I think he'll fare well this year with a delayed start. I also think anyone in NY or BOS pining for his return is wasting their time. Houston's hot start and apparently improved offense have sealed the deal IMO.

EDIT: And, on topic, the YES boards are an utter waste of your time. You literally get dumber trying to decipher what the idiots there purport as baseball knowledge. You'd have better luck trying to squeeze water out of a rock than you would finding anything remotely intelligent on that board.

i agree ,theres no way roger will put up numbers close to what he did last year with the astros if he comes to the american league, id say mid 3's ERA if not more
