Good god damn! Anyone think we sacrificed too much trying to make this a superior defensive team? I sure as hell don't. Great play by stern, what an ending. Papelbon retains the 0.00 ERA and gets a well deserved save.

 

This is a really impressive and deep team of pure veteran talent. Even the youngest guys like Crisp, Beckett and Youkilis are veterans. Great game.

Nice Stern. From what ive seen from him so far, maybe he should be given a shot to stay with teh sox after the rule 5 limitations are over. Just my two cents.
