I've seen that. Could've done a better job at the end, though (ball going through Buckner's legs).

I didnt see the video. I was under the assumption that this was done with the new GAmecube Baseball video game. Oops.

No, you only owned yourself. According to those links, boughten is an adjective. You used it as a verb in the past tense. Therefore, wrongly using the word, and in the process, owning yourself.

Ouch. I knew I should have read those definitions.

Your very first link includes the following quote: "American regional dialects allow freer adjectival use of certain past participles of verbs than does Standard English." It's not standard English. It's a common regional misuse of standard English. The word "ain't" is also in the dictionary as non-standard english, but anyone using that word also sounds idiotic. Don't use the word. It makes you look ignorant, and I dont think you are ignorant.

BTW You are owned

It also says that its a regional, mainly north/northeast, word. Last time I chedked I lived in New York, located in the Northeast. Its the same as Midwesterners calling soda "pop."

But either way, if you look at my post above yours, there's some automatic ownage.

Which is stupid, by the way. Even worse than that, though, is the areas where they call all soda 'coke'.
