Yeah, Hurricanes. I'm a big hockey fan and shame on me for making a big-ass mistake like that.

Florida Panthers, Miami Hurricanes, Carolina Panthers, Carolina Hurricanes. They really confuse the s*** out of me.

I went to the Sabres/Leafs game today and Andrew Peters made a golf gesture (clip is in this post, takes a little while to load) that made the Leafs pretty pissed off, thought it was funny as hell though. Tough weekend for the leafs though knocked out of playoff contention last night and gets owned by their rivals today 6-0.

He totally owned the Leafs, it was hilarious. The shot of the Leafs bench after he did was f***ing priceless.

Detroit is on a roll 7 straight wins, 12 straight road wins havent lost a regulation game in 19 games, the only team i see giving them a problem at the moment are the flames with Kiprusoff

Right now it's looking like the Senators will take the cup.

where? they have lost 6 of their last 7 games , i know they are missing some key players but same as detroit and they are still winning. And if hasek cant come back to form in time it might an early exit for them especially if they meet montreal with the hot goaltending of huet

I like the Rangers chances. I can't wait for the playoffs to start.

This is so not fair. The Oilers finished with a 41-28-13 (41-41) record while the Kings finished 42-35-5 (42-40). Who else is in favor of getting rid of the damn OTL points?

im in favor big time ,this is not the first year a team sqeaks in the playoff cause of freagin OT lose. i never liked it ,why should a team be rewarded a point cause they lost in OT ,its stupid ,they should do like MLB and NBA wins and loss only then we would see who are the better teams

There are some very good matchups in the first round. The Devils-Rangers series should be a great one.

indeed. its gonna be verry competitive, alot of good teams in it ,the team with the worst record in is tampa with 43-33-6 wich is a pretty good record so i dont think there will be to many sweeps

calder theres an interesting one i beleive there should be a tie between ovechkin and crosby . seing that technicaly this isnt ovechkin rookie season and the fact that crosby is the youngest player ever to score over 100 points in a season by doing so with the crapiest team
Posted
It is Ovechkin's rookie year since the lockout doesn't count as a season for him. He is much deserving of it as he did have a better year than Crosby.

the lockout dosent matter ovechkin went to play for the russian league while the lockout was on so technicaly this isnt his rookie season ,as i remember correctly Gretzky got screwed in a similiar way by not winning it cause he played in the AHL the year before.

Much more deserving? he only has 4 more points total the crosby and as i mentioned crosby is playing on the crapiest team and on top of that he is the youngest to score 100 points , its a well deserve tie if you ask me

I've got tickets to Game 1 in Jersey. Tickets for the Garden sold out in minutes, but tickets have been on sale in Jersey for about a week now and I was able to buy them last night. Devil fans are pathetic.

As for the series it should be a classic. Lundqvist and Brodeur both have the ability to take over a series. I'm pretty confident that the Rangers will get their act together and win it in 6. Colin White may sit out, which would be a huge edge for the Rangers, as he is a key defensive player when it comes to the Devils shutting down Jagr.

If the Rangers can stop the Elias, Gomez, Gionta line then the Devils have no offense.

I really cannot wait.

Umm, Ovechkin had 52 goals on a team with NOBODY around him and was third in the NHL in points. Crosby should be third or fourth at best. Dion Phaneuf, Cristobal Huet and Henrik Lundqvist all deserve serious consideration.

Got tickets for Game 1,2 and 5 in Buffalo.

Don't think the Flyers have what it takes, Buffalo has more speed and balanced scoring, not to mention much better goaltending.

They are hot going into the playoffs too, winning 7 of their final 8 games.

3rd or fourth at best ? yeah ok ,your telling me the six leading scorer and the youngest man to reach 100 points and also plays with NOBODY around him is 3 or 4 best

you guys are missing the point anyways
