game 7 in raleigh on thursday, this has easily been the best series of the playoffs.

If it was Buffalo I would care. Or Anaheim, because the Mighty Ducks are a sick name. But these two teams? No. But I guess it's weird when you're a fan of Boston sports teams when your teams aren't in the championship games. You just don't care unless you have some connection to another team, like an ex-Boston player or something.

 

And it's just like the Superbowl this year. NO ONE cared. It was terrible. If the Pats were in, I'm sure people would be glued to the television to see if 3 in a row was actually going to happen. But there's just like nothing to get exciting about in this Stanley Cup Finals, and same for this past superbowl.

I care and I'm going for the Oilers to win the cup... It would be nice if the Bruins can get a good team together and get in the hunt for a Stanley Cup... With the way the salary cap and everything is set up I think hockey is going to be alot like the NFL where you see different teams winning a lot (or losing a lot lol) and typically get a new champion every year (with the exception of the Patriots dynasty )

congrats to carolina, im proud of my sabres too, taking a tough carolina team to a game 7 without 3 of our top 4 defensemen, and a playmaking 1st line center.

 

better get some new sunglasses b/c the future looks bright.

 

can't wait until next yr., and for the record I could care less about the finals since im not really a fan of either team.

 

Listening to a lot of the players' post-game comments, these guys are really close and they want another chance to play together next year.

 

Mr. Golisano, do whatever you can to keep this team together...I think they'll be even better with everything they've learned from this season.

 

There may be some "take another run" discounts by some of the RFAs. Besides, cap will increase, we have cap room, and we get a revenue sharing cheque.
