Look 26, if I am wrong I will stand down and admit it. Are you sure of that? I really thought I heard him announce that he was ending it for the balance of the 2005 season. Anyway, let's hope you are right on this new policy. It just riles the hell of out of me that some of baseball's greatest records might fall to a pack of cheaters. Have a nice day. Enjoy jousting with you. Keep it up.

OK, 26 I stand corrected and apologize. I hate doing it to a Yankee fan but you seem to be a class guy. I wonder if you are the same 26 guy who once posted on Dirt Dogs? We had some good fun last season giving each other some @hit. But I still hold to my position that Selig will stand down when the chips are down, and maybe you can tell me just when this testing is going to begin? If I don't hear from you tonight, have a nice Sunday, and sorry for the misunderstanding.

I personally think Bud Selig is awful.

I know this is awful and probably won’t hold any merit, because I can't remember what friggin magazine I read this in.. (I want to say FHM or Maxim) anyway, last year I was reading an article.

He's basically a rich corrupt guy. He owned the Milwaukee Brewers which was the worst team in baseball with the lowest payroll. I think something like 28 million. So, he was lining his pockets. I don't care how bad a professional team is. You make money! He would not sell the team until the people in Milwaukee built him a new stadium (obviously increasing the value) I guess he doesn't own the team now, he "Signed" it over to his Daughter or son in law.

People make the argument that he was an Intern Commissioner and the owners association kept electing him for over 12 years. OF course they did. HE was an owner himself. He made the owners pockets Fatter.

Again, I don't remember the specifics but you get the idea. He bought out a guy’s bad investment for 20 million dollars (all he needed to pay was 8 I believe) and eventually that guy bought out John Henry to own the Florida Marlins. Which brings me to another John Henry association. Miraculously John Henry and Crew was the winning bidder for 700 million to become the owners of the Boston Red Sox. Even though, there were bids Higher then 700 million. It just goes to show you that it's good to have friends in High Places.

I don't think he's killing the game of baseball, I just don't think he's bringing much to the plate. I would imagine there is someone out there that could be doing a much better job and we should give him/ her the chance. Let Selig go back to robbing Milwaukee. I think just about the only good thing he's done for baseball is look the other way on Steroids during the Sosa/McGuire home run race. Like many, I feel that saved baseball, but you can hardly give him ethical credit for this!

Cheers
