I'm a religious Simmons fan. Did anyone buy his book? I'm VERY VERY tempted to buy it, or at the very least sneak a peek at it for a few hours in Barnes & Noble.

I read it. It's just a compilation of his Sox related articles from the Pedro trade through the WS with sidenotes about his frame of mind and background information.

I recommend it, especially if you've never read a lot of his stuff. It's pretty funny.

Another great read. I can't figure out why people hate Schilling so much sometimes. He totally nailed the whole Boston media/EEi/shannaseylaj?$ agenda.

Oh, the Simmons book is very funny. Actually, the funniest parts of the book are the footnotes.

It's cuz Schilling talks outta his ass half the time. Plus, I think he has a not so good clubhouse rep. Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I seem to have read about him quite a number of times.

I actually don't knwo much about him, but sounds like he's a funny bastard

He has a column on ESPN.com's Page 2. The best sports column barnone on the Internet IMO, and the only one I read religiously.

I have to admit I am one of those people who hated schilling the person but love schilling the redsox. I thought he was a big mouth, and his admiration and support of that moron in the white house was just too much to take. HOWEVER, this great article has changed a lot for me and I look at curt in a whole new light. He is indeed very smart and he is a regular guy, who understands a lot more about this whole thing than any of us could ever dream of knowing. This article has opened my eyes to a lot of things, primarily its that he is a fan too, and an articulate guy, I may not agree with what he has to say and I know in the future I wont, but I just realized after reading this article how refreshing iot is to hear opinions and insight, rather than the cliche ******** that most guys throw out there.I have a whole new respect for curt and I am thankful I read that article. Inever thought I'd say this but curt's bg mouth and littany of opinions are a good thing, in this cookie cutter world of overpaid , brainless athletes--he is a welcome change. This article changed my mind and thanks for putting it up as a link.
