Instead of calling you how bout I just send you the game tape from when Duke and Texas met this year. Maybe I should watch it again before I send it to you ... I can't remember if we beat Texas by 30 or 40 on their home floor.

Wasn't that game played in New Jersey, though? And if I remember correctly, it was a largely pro-Duke crowd. Regardless -- Duke still killed them. 97-66 was the final, I believe.

Now that you mention it, it was. It really doesn't matter though ... 31 points is 31 points.

I could give a rats ass what you did to the longhorns last year (screw UT). If you want to talk last year, why don't I send you a tape of the National Championship game. Run your mouth when you have the best basketball program within eight miles, junior.

P.S. I like watching Carolina, but I'm not a great fan -- I'm more of a Texas A&M guy. Did your parents go to Duke or do you just like rooting for teams with trophies in their hands? (Steelers 2006, Red Sox 2004, Duke Basketball?) I call ******** unless you want to root for Duke's football team has well. Anyone can jump on a bandwagon. It's just too bad that you'll never get the amazing feeling that real sports fans who go through the wear and tear with a team get when their team wins it all.

Alright I'll explain this like I did way back when I first got here. I live in Pittsburgh so naturally I'm a Steelers Fan ... have been since birth.

I was and still am a Pirates fan, and while watching the Pirates I fell in love with a young right hander playing for the expos. When he was traded to the Red Sox I continued following his career and watching as many Red Sox game as I could ... by the end of that season I was a Red Sox fan.

As far as College BBall goes I became a Duke fan simply because I saw more of their games than any other team. They became my favorite team when I was 5 or 6 and I've been with them since.

Anybody still convinced that this team is any good?

Gonzaga pulled it off. I believe if Indiana won tonight, that is who Gonzaga would play. The problem is, they rely so much on Morrison I don't know if they can win that next one against Indiana. In this next game or two, someone will find a way to shut down Morrison and send Gonzaga home. I'd still like to see them do well, though.

They will be playing Indiana in the next round. It will be tough to stop Morrison. I'm curious to see which Indiana team will show up on Saturday. Will it be the one tonight that showed heart and determination or the one that was basically asleep for part of the season.

Well, UConn's looking to make it's tournament stay the shortest in history for a #1 seed and CBS would rather show Cal/NC State where I am. 43-33 Albany.

Regardless of how it ends, UConn ain't winning the National Championship.

... embarassing.

UConn has gone a 7 point run and have cut the lead to 5. I wish I could watch this game on CBS, rather than the March Madness on Demand, where there's a delay.

wow CBS has completely screwed this up. They keep a Pitt game on that was over with 15 minutes left in the first half ... instead of two potential upsets. I'm a Pitt fan and I was yelling for them to change it.

Well, if you go under cbssportsline.com you can get March Madness on Demand and watch whatever game you want, so I'm watching UConn via computer. The only problem is, I can see the score change on the television a good 30 seconds before I can watch that particular basket on my computer.

68-57 UConn, now. Albany played a hell of a game -- certainly had me scared. Hopefully UConn focus' from here on out.

Yeah I've seen it. Point is I want to see it on my TV. March Madness is all about upsets and CBS let two potential ones pass them by.

I want to know who said UK is gonna lose to UAB? Damn im sorry guys... didn't happen

Now Kentucky gets to play a motivated UConn team that, once they got in a rythym, outscored their opponent by 25 points over a 10 minute span. Good luck.

I'm proud of my boys. They never panicked as they looked being on the wrong side of the biggest upset ever straight in the face. I bet they don't come out that flat again tomorrow.

Anyone watching the Duke/GW game? What's the rule on touching the rim while the shot is in the air? I know Nelson's shot had no chance to go in, but I don't think that matters in terms of interpretting the rule. Pops Mensa-bonsu (SP?) was clearly on the rim while the ball was in the air.

You probably heard it while you watched the game but the ball has to be in/touching above the cylinder otherwise it's a no-call. Only reason Mensah-Bonsu was on the rim was because he didn't want to fall on Nelson. I got a little heated when I saw the play live but I realized that he was only on there because he didn't want to hurt Nelson.

BC finishes off Montana 69-56 to advance to the Sweet Sixteen for the first time since 1994 when Billy Curley and Howard Eisley led the Eagles to the Elite Eight. The game was not even as close as the score indicated as the Eagles blew them out in the second half.

Is Kentucky capable of missing a god damn three pointer in the second half of this game? Two point game with a minute left... now we get to see what Connecticut is made of again.

edit: 2 point game with 18.7 left. Just make your free throws and it's yours, UConn.

edit: Game over, UConn survives.

Those 3's they hit didn't do them any good when they couldn't rebound a missed free-throw. That was the difference coming down the stretch.

I think that 1 out of bounds play was really the difference in this game. They said it was out on Sparks but replays showed that it looked like it went off the UConn player. The Huskies ended up turning it into 4 points after Armstrong had a chance for the conventional 3 point play but he missed the free throw and UConn tipped in the rebound. It just so happened that 4 points was the margin of victory for Connecticut.

Yeah, that's for sure. Those Hilton Armstrong rebounds is what won this basketball game. Not sure Kentucky would've been in the game if not for the 3 pointers, though. Can't believe that, other than UConn, only La Salle went after him.

As for the out-of-bounds play that ended up being UConn's ball; it's tough to tell, because you can't really tell if the UConn player is touching the ball or if he just has his hand around, but looking at that replay, I'd give the ball to Kentucky on that one. Huge turning point in the game. From a chance to tie or take the lead to a chance to cut the lead to 4 or 3.

edit: Were those rebounds by Hilton Armstrong before or after Randolph Morris fouled out? I think once he fouled out, the tallest player on the floor for Kentucky was 6'7"

Wow. UNC was in my final four. <_>

Don't feel too bad... well, you should for picking against UConn and all, but still, I had Kansas in mine. :(

I got UConn, BC, Texas, and Memphis. I'm really nervous about pickin Texas out there but I have a feelin they can beat Duke, and LSU also has a chance. Also BC is really dependan on their defense, and the game tempo, if they turn it into a half-court game, and somewhat stop Nova's guards, they'll have a chance.
