IMO Syracuse is primed for a huge letdown. After all those big wins, on a high kind of after winning the BE. I think McNamera and co. are a little full of themselves right now. A&M is a very good team and I think they can take 'Cuse.

At most Syracuse should have gotten a 6th seed. 5 is too high....Even though GW played a soft schedule seeding them 8th was too low. Tennessee a 2 seed was a joke too when teams like Carolina and BC and Gonzaga were more deserving.

Other thoughts from just looking at the bracket and not looking at the other comments. Gonzaga a 3 while Tennessee and UCLA are 2's that surprised me a bit. BC should be a 3 over UNC seeing as they beat them twice and finished only 1 game back of UNC. UAB-Kentucky a rematch of a couple years ago or maybe it was last year when UAB upset Kentucky (I remember it because I picked it). Syracuse and Washington as 5's are jokes in my mind. Cuse should be lower, UDub higher. But in my mind the biggest shame is GW as an 8. The A-10 is an average conference of course, but when you finish with only 2 losses I think you deserve better than an 8 but I guess the 207 SOS really did them in. No way they should be facing Duke in the 2nd round though and I bet the Dukies aren't really thrilled about their 2nd round matchup either.

UCLA is not really a surprise considering they have been pretty good all year won the PAC-10 regular season and conference titles. Tennessee was a shocking #2 seed. 21-7 record and they were bounced in the SEC tourney early. BC is 26-7 and made it to the ACC title game. I had Tennessee a 4 or a 5.

I like how Dukes region worked out, should be a fun region, and its evident who I have winning that one.

 

The Oakland region is a good one, look out for a few possible darkhorses, Marquette could pull a few games out of Tom Creans hat especially with a player like Steve Novak. I got Memphis here.

 

The Washington region, has 3 great matchups if everything goes right. Uconn/Illinois in the Sweet 16 and the winner of that game against UNC in the Elite 8. I see the Huskies getting this, and we have a trend.

 

The Minneapolis region, Nova resides as the 1 seed. Scary for them though because they might not have Ray at 100%. I don't see any problems for them in the first two rounds but in the Sweet 16, they could possibly play BC, and could lose. Probably won't and will win the region.

 

The final four; all #1 seeds. Duke beats Memphis and Uconn beats Nova. Duke plays Uconn and wins.

4 Number 1 seeds in the Final Four will not happen. It never has and I doubt it will happen this year. There are always one or two number one seeds falling short of the Final Four.

Bout time. The guys looked half dead for the last decade. After that incident last year he should have retired.

Vitale and another guy have BC goin to the Final Four, which would be great to see. I think we should have gotten a 3 seed but our schedule I guess was enough to bring us down, and our only kind of significant out of conference win was at OSU, who will be in the NIT. But they really set us an easy path to the Final Four, or at least the Sweet 16. After that it's either Nova or Wisconsin/Zona, all of whom we have a chance to beat.After that we would most likely face Georgetown/Florida which is far less difficult then UV/UW/UA.

After watching SC I gotta say I'm going to miss Chaney, as he's the only man I know able to sweat through a shirt and a suit jacket while holding a press conference ... gotta love that.

We're a bit inflated as far as seeding. But, a 6 would have been completely understandable, so it's not that far off from where they belong......and they gave us a first round matchup against a team from a "power" conference.

 

But, hey, every year there's some questionable calls by the committee. So, I 'aint complainin'.

I don't know whose gonna win it, im thinking not a number one seed. I'm leaning towards MSU right now. I think MSU is money in the tourney. David Paul. Brown, etc. they are a good team, and coach izzo is a smart man

I f***ed up on the deadline so I'm not in anything. I can pick whoever the hell I want. But honestly, I can see all four making it. But w/e, in the end all that matters is that Duke will be cutting the nets down for their 4th championship under Coach K.

I got an upset brewing in here... I just think MSU can win it. But im also looking at Ohio State in the Minneapolis bracket. Nova IMO is not good enough to make it past the elite 8. Also I don't know why but West Virginia i think, THINK can be a big bracket buster

Instead of calling you how bout I just send you the game tape from when Duke and Texas met this year. Maybe I should watch it again before I send it to you ... I can't remember if we beat Texas by 30 or 40 on their home floor.
