I'll be highly amused when they don't reach the Eastern Conference Finals

I'll be in stitches when you (somehow) kick up the irrational LeBron garbage five or six notches to try and downplay him winning a championship one year after leaving the shitshow that never lifted a finger to try and get him teammates.

There was a poll post-game that asked the U.S what was the furthest round the heat would get to. 48 states said the 2nd round. Not even florida was convinced that they would get to the conference finals.

It's amazing and shows that America just does not learn. The similarities to the 2008 Celtics are numerous, both with the team itself and the trash people keep spewing to try and magnify their failures and downplay the success. But most casual fans/ESPN mouthbreathers have their heads much too far up the present's ass to ever notice.

Knicks f***ING suck' date=' how the hell you you lose to the CAVS!?!?! Why am I a fan?[/quote']

How do the Lakers keep losing to the Bobcats? Just s***** matchups. Not the end of the world.

Comparing that Celtic team with league-leading defense, and legendary chemistry to this Heat team? The Heat can't beat good teams- AT ALL. They have a a serious lack of depth. They can't cover perimeter shooting. Picking up Mike Bibby is not helping this team, and they still have no idea who their center is. This team is a mess, and if you don't believe it, watch the press conferences from the last two days.

I'm not saying those three guys aren't good, or they won't win a championship in the future. But until they improve the bench, the chemistry, its not happening.

Yeah. Obviously they're different in the two ways you just mentioned, that's not what I was going for.

Wanna know how they're similar? Multiple star players, excellent defensive team. Sure, just two reasons, but not much else they need.

What month is it again?

They have a a serious lack of depth.

Miller and Haslem have been hurt all year, and Bibby's still trying to get acclimated. Try again.

T-6th in the NBA in opponent's 3-point%. Just horrible.

They don't have a set in stone center, but there isn't really a glaring need for one. They're 6th in rebounding differential and top 2 in opponent FG%. I think they're doing okay with what they got.

Ohhhhhh right, the PRESS CONFERENCES. What an idiot I am, forgetting how CRITICAL those are in determining a team's state of being.

Bull. s***. The bench will improve itself once the playoffs roll around and at least Miller's healthy. A 100% Haslem would be a huge bonus, they've gotten by without him. The chemistry thing is junk, that creates itself when everything else is in place.

Got this picture from ESPN page 2

Was he trying to chase down the ball or escape? and that guy beside him to the right looks like Erik Spolestra

The Bulls lost Noah for how many games? The Celtics have been in rough shape all season. The Lakers have been without Bynum. Orlando's team had a massive shake-up mid-season. Blaming the injuries of no-namers like Haslem and Miller on this team's failures is ridiculous.

And all those stats you throw out mean very little when they are only the aggregate of good and bad games. They'll pulverise the Cavs and the Wizard, and it'll just average out their stats. When they improve from 1-9, that's when people will start taking them seriously.

The Celtics have not had a true center for most of the year.

If Kobe and Gasol didn't s*** the bed the game wouldn't have been a blowout.

Actually, Chris Bosh lit up Gasol from 3. He shot 5-6 from downtown. If Bosh made like 2, it would have been closer.

Ad hominem my friend. You have a case, but.... You're not really presenting it. You're lashing out at everyone who disagrees with you.

Who the hell did I blame for anything? You said they have no depth, I countered with the two players that spent most of the year hurt, the two players Miami was counting to be their 6th and 7th men this year, who are on the way back.

So first it was 'the Heat suck at this this and this', which I went ahead and dismantled, now those stats (evidence is another word for it) don't mean anything because of who they've played? Keep reaching.

I guess nobody's team stats mean anything then. Chicago being 1st in defense is meaningless, since they've played a shitload of bad teams. Boston's negative rebounding differential must not mean anything, since it's positive (and in the top half of the league) against the Lakers.
