Considering how hard I was on the Nuggets for making this trade, I'll admit that I'm very, very happy we have Patterson now. There was an insane stretch where he showed more hustle than I've ever seen in an NBA game. Me and my roommate were in awe.

Perhaps. I shouldn't have been so hard on him after this trade, he pulled off a gem at the deadline last year. But to save his job, and to give this team a chance to compete, I think he needed to pull off something big. As it is, we don't have a shooter, and we won't win without one. We've had countless chances to pick up a shooter, too.

I'm still not crazy about bringing in a sex offender, but as long as he gives everything he can on the court, I can get over those issues with him off the court.

Im more looking forward to the game on the 12th though vs. the Nugs. Got tickets to that one too.

Same here that seat next to you better not be filled that game.

Nice, I know I'm going to be sick of seeing Chris Brown promotions and commercials on the jumbotron before the game starts. They tend do overpromote those things, no way in hell I'm staying for that concert.

Same. Train leaves at 1035. Ill be ready to get on there right after the final buzzer goes off. I cant stand Chris Brown. Ill be ready to "run it run it" outta there.

Great game, Pierce was MJ-esque towards the end of the game, I'm just happy that Iw on't be seeing anymore chris brown commercials during C's games.

That three Pierce hit over Jackson at the end was probably the best shot I ever witnessed. What an ill game. I was basically flipping out from the middle of the third till the end.

Another great game down in Phoenix. Suns and Magic...The Magic came to play and hit like everything.

Tim Thomas was awesome in his debut with 20 points and going 4/6 from three. Marion was amazing as usual with 26 points and 9 rebounds and a HUMONGOUS block on Keyon Dooling at the end. Nash dazzled again and Diaw is etching his name on the Most Improved Player trophy, with a near triple double. 40 wins, amazing and were only 4 games off our pace from last year, who woulda thought? :D

I'm liking the Celtics right now. IMO they still have a chance for the playoffs. Big game vs. Milwaukee on Friday. Milwaukee plays the Knicks and Kings before then and we play the Raptors, Washington and Sixers, all winnable games for us. If by some miracle the Knicks beat the Bucks tonight we would be 4.5 back. Then we can beat the Raptors tomorrow for 4 games back. Beat Washington on Tuesday and go 3.5 back. Beat the Sixers and Bucks lose to the Kings on Wednesday and were 2.5 back. Then beat them on Friday and were 1.5 back right in it.

Wishful thinking? Yes. Can it be done? Yes.

Even if the Bucks win that game, we would only be 2 games back.

But that would require the Celtics winning 5 straight games, I believe the most they have won this year is 2 in a row.

Yeah, that pierce shot was absolutely insane. If you heard one person in the arena clapping when Scal came in, that was me.

Anything can happen, but Philly is playing well and Washington is very good. The Raptors the Celtics SHOULD beat. That's a huge plan with alot of "if's"...

I see it happening like this...

Milwaukee beats the Knicks

Milwaukee loses to the Kings

Boston beats the Raptors

Boston loses to Washington

Boston loses to the 76ers (they beat Washington last night...)

Boston beats the Bucks (IF its in Boston, otherwise I can't say either way)

Raps are tough team now. They took NJ to OT.

They just don't have the guns right now. Bosh and thats it. That's why Colangelo bolted from here...he saw another project for himself...I just don't know why he didn't want to have a ring or two to show for it. :dunno:
