I think thats a big problem here. I would still bet on the Red Sox if they had Pedro Martinez, Derek Lowe and a dominate Curt Schilling. None of those guys (esp Pedro and Lowe) are walking through the Red Sox clubhouse anytime soon.

Lowe was a major part of the 03 win and he closed out every game of last years postseason. Would you like to have Lowe or Arroyo/Clement right now?

For Paplebon to start game 5 he cant pitch at all from here on out untill game 5 which take away him from the bullpen and makes it even weaker. If it gets to a game 5 it will be pieced togther with Arroyo, Clement and Wells coming back on 3 days rest. All hands on deck like they say.

I couldnt agree with you more Theo made some series errors this offseason, however with all the young talent coming up i can see why he did not want to get tied down with big contracts, so if we lose on Friday it will SUCK real bad, but this team has a great future
