Red Sox need to release this stiff asap and bring manny delcarmen back up. He gave up 4 ER in the 10th vs the tigers not that it really mattered but if it was a closer game it would. I just think this guy is horrendous.

haha i was just about to do this thread, i mean cmon in 3 outs (tonight being first time in 3 games able to get a single out) has given up total 9 runs, walking 4, and striking out 1. Yahoo sports shows his ERA is now 54.00 with the Red Sox, for love it all Sox send up Matt Perisho a lefty in Pawtucket acquired from the Marlins or bring back Delcarmen of course.

yes true his past wasnt good. Though this season in 24 games with the Marlins he was 2-0 with a 1.93 ERA. There was then a fluke of 17 games for Triple A team of the Marlins having a 11.93 ERA in 17 appearances. However, since being acquired and sent to Pawtucket he has now appeared in 6 games (6.1 innings pitched) giving up 3 hits, 2 runs, 1 Walk, 4 Ks. an ERA of just under 3. Id take him over remlinger in a sec

Id take him over remlinger in a sec Me too why did we even get him he was useless the cubs didnt even want him

reason why: get this its because of Matt Clement. On a NESN pre-game report of last week, Nick Carafado said Matt Clement had urged the Red Sox front office to acquire Remlinger, who he became great friends with while at the Cubs. Yeaaah I dont think front office wont be hearing any more ideas from him for awhile

Come on guys, lets at least give him a chance. He's not THAT bad.

Ha, just kidding

He's that bad, I stuck up for him up untill today, that's the last straw this guy needs to be cut.

the guy is a disaster I am not sure why he is still on the team, maybe embree gave him the pictures he had of terry francona naked with sheep. That was the only reason embree stuck around for as long as he did, and the mantle has been passed to remlinger.

good scouting by sizzlin on this guy...lol

yeah you're right it is a rule

red sox employee manual states. section 1 paragraph 2:

Team must carry a useless lefty whose main purpose is to f*** with the minds of the fans. Terry is to bring him where possible to make games close and keep TV ratings high.

I also found this in the manual:

section3.paragraph.

team will also carry an overweight loud and grossly untalented first basemen for the season. He has to change his hairdo every month, talk all the time, and never get a clutch hit.

He must be out of shape and fat. If he gets a home run or a clutch hit in the secoind half of the season he will be cut.

so that explains a lot.

The Remlinger experiment has failed. This was against the Detroit Tigers. Its time to try out DiNardo, Alvarez, or Perisho

By the way....I'm leaning toward calling up Hansen when rosters expand cause he still has not given up a run. I'm hearing that he looks fantastic and has more strikeouts than innings pitched. Bullpen savior on the way???????????

I'd actually like to throw in that I am quite impressed with Jeremi Gonzalez....he is really starting to put something together and is a strong long relief pitcher. I think Bronson can be the same thing and we would have two extremely good 2-inning pitchers down the stretch.

I absolutly love watching him pitch in NY. I hope he stays there....I can't help but giggle every time I see him. For starters he looks rediculous all clean shaved. He looks even more rediculous when he attempts to pitch. Good thing they have Scott Proctor to bail him out when......oh wait, see what had happened
