Oh, come on now. It's not that bad. It's been so long since I felt a loss (when was it, a week ago last Tuesday?) that it almost seems they are due for one. It's healthy.

The Sox are a good team and are more consistant than the Yankees. They'll come back tomorrow.

Let me put it this way: The Yanks could sweep, the Sox could be swept - and we'd still be in 1st place afterward. It just sucks we have to go until 7pm tomorrow night with a loss on the brain.

It's 1 game. No big deal. Wells is pitching tomorrow, right? He's been our best starter the last 2 months. Wake on Sunday, right? He's GREAT in domes.

Arroyo though is starting to scare me. Looks like he's running out of steam here a tad too early in the year.

And forget about Embree for god's sake. Worry about your own damn team.

The Yankees will not be in the playoffs this year. They have no starting pitching - I don't care what their offense or Rivera does.

The key to Santana is his change-up. Yeah, I guess you all know, it looks just like his fastball. Made the Yanks look atrocious when they couldn't tell the difference.

And while Santana seems to be returning to form, at times this year teams can get to him in the early innings - especially the first, so that's when the damage pretty much has to be done.

Damn, I missed out on the Kevin Millar HR prediction, thanks Lew Ford!

Pitchers duel tonight, Santana and Wells should be a good one. Wells is always good against the Twins (YankeeDoodle, you should remember that game back in '98), and Santana is just good all the time. I don't know the numbers, but doesn't Santana become Nolan Ryan in the 2nd half?
