LOL - you got your chance to retract, at least partially, your comments, CHB. Nope? Fine then...

Called out on "PTI"

So what happened?

"Well, they lost Foulke, had lots of bullpen problems, and they stopped winning at home."

Wanna revise your statement?

"I still think Boston will win the division by 4 to 5 games."

Are the Yankees going to make the playoffs?

"Well...the AL East won't be sending two teams so...I guess I'm saying no."

Yankee fans: Nothing is over until we decide it is! Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor? ;)

um, you're a moron. It began when Pearl Harbor was bombed, and the Japanese bombed Pearl Harbor, not the Germans.

C'mon Yankees...win some more, and I'll let you shout "HELL NO!" in CHB's face, ok?

Poetic justice that KB's going tonight to prevent this season from sliding downhill again. With a 7.45 ERA in seven road starts. :o

''I'm stiff, I'm not functioning very well. I'm just trying to build back up,'' Brown said. ''I'm just trying to fill a need. It would have been great to take my time, but there are a lot of guys out right now.''

Yankees are still in the race but our having a lot of problems in the pitching department. In order to make the playoffs, they'll have to play decent baseball *consistently*. None of this hot for one week and cold the next. Also, I knew that the Orioles would slide into a slump.

I think you should provide your psychic consulting services to the Yankees front office, oh within the next week or so. Advise Cashman on which NL pitcher is best fit for a transaction. ;)

Oakland busts Anaheim inside, and what do the Yankees pitchers do...pitch out. Grrrrrreat news for Guerrero. At least we got one good start out of Mussina and well, the Angels have had our number for some time; realistically didn't expect that to change on this trip.

There's not much that can be done except taking it one game at a time...it's not exactly early anymore, but they're not in mathematical jeopardy, so whatever. :dunno:

I guess busting Guerrero inside works, if you can locate it. It's kinda like Giambi back when he was with the A's. He's greatest weakness is next to his greatest strength, and if you miss your spot inside, by just an inch, it would land into San Fransico.

I don't think you can pitch Guerrero anywhere, he's just that good. When he's on, he can hit anything, and anywhere. So you can try busting him inside, but try it, and he'll kill the ball.

LOL.. Ok, I'm not psychic but if you were watching the Orioles as of late, you would sense that they were slowly falling apart. Just a trend analysis. Maybe they'll come back. We'll see...

Oh yeah - ya kidding - the man has his own strike zip-code! Normally I would give him more credit for just being a great hitter, but with the state of Yankees pitching, that's not saying much about anyone.

I remember Flash saying something like "I had my slider working..." - and I just KNEW that it was going to be out of the yard...Vlad will get it ANYWHERE.

Still, the general consensus is great pitching beats great hitting; how have the A's totally owned the Angels now that they're pitching staff is in order?

Jim Beattie and Mike Flangian should be skinned alive. They should have made their move 6 weeks ago, the Orioles are done, and they won't come back like the Yankees did.

Aww shucks! Heh, I was only kidding - but if you ever DO get this vision - call Steinbrenner up. He has a position for everything, motivational coach (harhar - that's working quite well), so I'm sure this new clarity to the future would work quite well for this club. :D
