Yankees are still in the race but our having a lot of problems in the pitching department. In order to make the playoffs, they'll have to play decent baseball *consistently*. None of this hot for one week and cold the next. Also, I knew that the Orioles would slide into a slump.

Oakland busts Anaheim inside, and what do the Yankees pitchers do...pitch out. Grrrrrreat news for Guerrero. At least we got one good start out of Mussina and well, the Angels have had our number for some time; realistically didn't expect that to change on this trip.

Oh yeah - ya kidding - the man has his own strike zip-code! Normally I would give him more credit for just being a great hitter, but with the state of Yankees pitching, that's not saying much about anyone.
