Ball game, Yanks lose. Close game though. Tino hit a 2 run shot. Womack tried to bunt his way on and Wright made this sick bare handed cannon throw to first to get Womack by about a quarter of a step. Jeter singled. Then Cano chopped one to 2nd base, and he almost beat it out diving it. All in all, Yankees lose. Its a good night.

Who would have though that at the end of June, not having our main man Schilling all year, that we would be in first, and the 843098529839875329859873987 dollar payroll team would be in 3rd and hardly over 500... gotta love it.

Our players still need to win tomorrow (atleast I'd rather win tomorrow that Sunday if I had the choice) so we can take two of three and go for the sweep. It's a long year... as long as we continue hitting well against our opponents (especially AL East teams) and pitching can hold up for the rest of the time that Schilling is out, we'll be fantastic.

with schilling out for now anyways, we got our current ace clement up on the mound saturday , friigin yeah, god they werent kidding great pitching will be contagious as well as power hitting, so far this week outscorin teams 40 - 15, and have belted at least 1 homerun each game this week, which is right now at 12 homeruns belted by our boys. everybody has been downplaying manny cuz of his average, well complain no further as manny is coming back full force as he was last summer, diving catches and gettin a homerun in just about every game since last sundays game against the cubs. niice stuff indeed

so glad when i saw that Manny is back to havin fun after starting season so serious, yay im startin to see him havin a good time out there and do that pointing thing that he does. It is pure manny, in start of this season he wasnt actin like himself at all and on average a homerun for each 10 games. well now in last 10 games, hes belted 6, knew he would come around, besides think all of the s***** weather we have been having up here in boston being cold from april thru mid june, probably did mess up manny cuz hes used to the hot weather with him being from the dominican. Last night, last October's memories came back as pedro quieted the yanks to now keep them back 5 1/2 games behind us, us being in 1st place now, haha. plus we got 2 3 run shots off of lieber, the lowly yankee pitcher we faced in 2 playoffs games plus hmm Sean Henn is pitchin for the yankees today against the Mets. Yanks I do believe once we lifted the curse of the bambino, he is now bearing his forces down on you :harhar:

Something is different this morning. I can't figure out what it is. My coffee tastes better than usual. My cigarette tastes smooth. Birds are singing, cats and dogs are getting along. The sun is out.
