I didn't give up. Even after game 3 when things couldn't have looked more bleak, I didn't give up. I wanted to get it on record, so I told anyone who would listen that the Sox might be setting up the Yankees for the biggest collapse in baseball history. That may have been my greatest joy.

 

What you need to know about me:

Real name is Carl. Ndugu is my tribal name.

 

I met Trot. I used to work with his wife, who is one of the most pleasant people I've ever met. Trot was humble and kind.

 

I have pictures of people jumping into the Charles during the parade. Watching the Duck Boat drivers take evasive action was really entertaining.

 

Clemens is my favorite player. In '85 he signed my program and talked to me for a little while. He said he would come back strong, so I told all my friends he would win the Cy Young in '86. That program has his signature along with Mike Sullivan and Steve Lyons.
