Already the 6th inning in this one 3-2. Both starters are still in. Matt Clement for the Sox and Hayden Penn for the O's. No Millar, Damon or Mueller in the lineup today. Youkilis is batting leadoff.

 

Red Sox scored on a Ortiz ground out and a 2 run double by Varitek. Orioles scored on a solo homer by Jay Gibbons and a double by B.J. Surhoff.

When he hit that mother f***ing bomb, I jumped up so high that my knuckles hit the ceiling and now its all bloody... but it was all worth it! Im glad I skipped my match to watch this game. That bunt single by Renteria was just a prefect bunt, couldnt have been better. Props to the team for pulling this one out and saving Foulke.

I'm starting to enjoy these Orioles games. I hate the lopsided 7-1 and 5-1 games, but today and even last night had some real drama. I hope the LAA games are as fun. :damon:

I wish i went to a game like that. I only been to 2 of them, A 9-4 Blowout by Minnesota, and a 10-1 Thrashing of the Tigers, where Kevin Millar was 5-5 with 5 RBI's and Derek Lowe pitched 8 innings. Both in 2003. my friend got to go to game 3 of the alds and saw the big papi walkoff, and met Remdawg. f***in lucky.

Not to put this all on Ortiz, but Renteria has been doing what he should be doing the last week(other then the error today)... Nice shot by Ortiz. Foulke gets the win. Clement good pitching.
