7:05 tonight. About 70 degrees with a 30% chance of isolated thunder storms.

Wakefield will be making his 10th start of the year as the Red Sox open a three-game series with the Yankees. Wakefield faced New York in his first two starts of the season, allowing just three runs -- two earned -- on eight hits in 13 2/3 innings. However, he has lost his last two starts.

Johnson looks to rebound after losing his last outing, when he allowed four runs in 6 2/3 innings against the Mets. After two straight starts on the road, the left-hander returns to the friendly confines of Yankee Stadium, where he has a 3.25 ERA in six starts -- nearly two runs lower than his 5.49 mark in three starts on the road.

Ive got a better feeling about this series now that I've had a while to think about it and vent. There is no f***ing way that we dont start going ripshit and demolishing anything in our path.

I feel your pain RedSoxRooter, stuck with YES as well. The bastards show no emotion, so on that 2 run homer by V-tek I couldn't tell whether it was going to be a regular flyout or what.

Red Sox- 2 vs. Yankees- 0. C'mon Sox, stop leaving men on....Wake, continue to do your job.

Man, that ball carried unbelievably far. I thought it was just gonna be a fly out. Great job Tek. Randys pitch count is up around 85 now, so he should only have 1-2 innings left, which is very good. And also, Edgar is absolutely beasting tonight. hes had one hell of a road trip so far.

For those who dont know: 2-0 Red Sox.

B.S. on that last strike three call, but hey...the Yankees get all the national attention anyways, just give them the strike three call so their nationwide fans can be happy.

BTW, was the whole game on ESPN? I was watching YES and didn't switch it over until the game was over and they were showing the end of the game.

Yeah it was, it was blacked out in the Boston area but you probably should have been able to get it. Good thing we have Joe Buck and Tim McCarver broadcasting tomorrow.

Hey, Tex.

We're blacked out for tomorrow's game. I'm stuck with the Braves game and you are probably stuck with the 'stro's game. Clement will of course kick ass so long as I can't see it. :(
