Thanks to all you who replied to my earlier post aboout tickets and Fenway. I have just won 2 tickets on ebay to the 6/02 game. FIELD Box 12, Row B. I hope these are as good as the picture looks. Can't wait to get my son there. Our first Boston and Fenway experience... :harhar: :thumbsup:

I just bought my husband a Green Monster seat ticket on ebay. It was $148.00. I know that's pricey, but we went on a Fenway tour last month and he loved sitting up there. I got the ticket on ebay. The price was actually pretty "cheap" compared to the other auctions! I hope that he likes it...

Forgive me if this sounds bizarre.

My husband and I will be in NYC Memorial Day weekend during the Yankees seies. I'm trying to find reasonably priced seats that aren't too high up at the stadium. It isn't looking so good. Anyway, here is my question..

Does anyone know what hotel The Sox stay at? I thought that even if I couldn't get tickets to the game, maybe we would be able to possibly see a player.

If by right-center you mean the grandstand section right next to the bleachers, they're decent seats. You don't need to crane your neck if you have straight on seats, but some sections are tilted away from the plate so you have to turn your body. Post exact section numbers if you want so we could help out more precisely.

I was looking on mlb.com for tickets to any of the cards and sox games this mon-wed and i was wanting bleacher seats in the outfield but they dont have any available it says so do you guys know of anywhere else i could find tickets? thanks

kind of an old thread but I thought I'd input anyway. The atmosphere at fenway is absolutely intoxicating. every time I go there I wish I didnt have to leave. and move in there. hhaha... its so great. I went once in april and figured maybe i'd go once more and that would be it, but I went last week (total spur of the moment thing), and now I'm going next week, and then again in july, and again in sept and I'll probably be buying more tickets this summer too. I know its a ton of money to be spending, but its a lot of fun and not much more than what I'd be spending on a long vacation this year, and going to fenway always puts me in an excellent mood for days plus I used to smoke a lot of weed and had to quit, and this is even more fun, makes me feel even happier and is perfectly LEGAL. haha.

 

Oh and I buy all my tickets from redsoxtix.com (through ebay usually) they are pretty trustworthy, so thats why I keep going back. for last weeks game though I went to their office and picked up the ticket... I live in NY so its a 3 hr drive and I was pretty tired when I got there. he gives me the price of the ticket (which was much more than $20) and I handed him a $20 and the guy was like, WTF is wrong with you? haha I felt pretty dumb. but handed over my credit card.

I finally got some tickets off Ebay, I got some Loge Reserve seats in LF and i might be getting some infield box seats today. Thanks for your help. BTW is anyone going to the game at busch on tuesday? I live in Southern IL so this is my first time seeing the Sox play, I cant wait!

I finally found the right thread to chat about my Red Sox tickets....

 

I bought 2 tickets from stubhub for me and my Dad in the granstand, section 17. It's pretty far back (row 17, from what I've heard, if it starts at AA, BB, etc, that's pretty bad). What (if anything) can y'all tell me about these seats? What am I in for?

1. I'm gonna merge this with the existing ticket question thread.

2. That could very well be the last row of faaaaaaaaar left field. In the grandstand it goes AA BB CC and so on, and then it gets to numbers as far as rows go. For the "hardcore party peopel" you'd be better off with the bleachers, but Fenway is pretty tame when it comes to this because the tickets are so damn expensive. The tour is awesome, definitely worth the time, although I'm unsure of the cost. I dont think anyone tailgates, and beer is accessible, although expensive, and is not available after the 7th. Prepare to wait in line.

ah wow yea that is the last row of center field bleacher seats, basically youre backs will be against where the dunkin donuts billboard is. i had those seats for the boston loss to torontos halladay

ah wow I had seats close to there for the 7/31 game, you have great seats, thats like the 10th row from the field, bullpens are just20/25 feet away from you--Get there early before the game and can sit in front row seats if not taken and able to meet sox pitchers like bronson, curt even tek will stand against the wall while practing his throwing, trust me its what i did ill get some pics on here for what you'll basically be seeing
