  1. I always hated Mark Bellhorn. I was so glad to see him leave and now I am going to love to hate him even more.
  2. Very classy move, it is complete chaos down here. The area is a disaster and now there are crazy people all over the streets with nothing in the New Orleans area that are fleeing to Baton Rouge. It is very scary because these people have nothing to lose and are breaking into houses cars and stores holding people up at gunpoint. Scary, scary situation down here. We have been told to exercise martial law and shoot anyone that comes into our houses or businesses. Everyone is sleeping with guns. It is a very sad and scary place right now and any and all help is appreciated.
  3. Millar is doing fine and is a very valuable asset to this team. Everyone needs to stop whining so much and support this guy. Last time I checked he is still a Red Sox.
  4. Millar hit 2 homers last night. Who wants to keep bashing?
  5. I really just don't like the guy and am biased.
  6. I would love to see Todd Walker in a Red Sox uniform again.
  7. I wouldn't be suprised to see the Yanks pick him up. They don't mind having players on roids(Giambi, Sheffield).
  8. Why is everyone always on Millar's case and not on Cora's? This guy is terrible at the plate and is just ok in the field. Millar is a much better player than Cora and is more valuable in the clubhouse. :dunno:
  9. Houston Astros
  10. Ramirez isn't ready yet and Renteria is a clutch hitter. All of those who doubt him and want him to be traded will change their mind in October. Renteria is the man
  11. Nobody here thinks Kapler is on the juice? My cousin also used to play in the Marlins organization during the time when Millar and Sheffield were both there and he said that they were both on the juice. He said Millar didn't use it nearly as frequently as Sheff though.
  12. Manny, Millar, Mueller, Foulke, Bellhorn for Soriano, Teixeira, Dellucci, and Cordero This would probally never happen, I'm just bored at work.
  13. I'll even throw in Mueller
  14. let's get rid of manny, millar, and bellhorn for soriano and teixera
  15. Any word on when he is going to be back?
  16. Did anyone see where Jose Cansaco said that Jeter was the most overrated SS to ever play the game.
  17. I think the Sox take the series.......damn I'm funny
  18. I have heard this tossed aroung a good bit on ESPN lately and I really am not happy about it. If this happens, I hate to say it, but the Yankees will win it all. He would solidify their outfield and have a field day at the plate in Yankee Stadium.
  19. The earlier the better to take a tour of Fenway. Tours stop 3 hours before gametime and the later it gets the less access you have to parts of the stadium. Do the tour early in the morning and you will be able to go into the dugout and go onto the field.
  20. If so how was it and would it be worth buying standing room only tickets to?
  21. Quotes from Kapler in early June ''Jason Varitek left me a message in which he played a song we'd sung a lot on the plane, and it literally had me in tears," Kapler said. ''I spend time learning about what is happening [with the Sox]. I knew Kevin [Millar] was struggling, [i wanted] to give him a hug to help him through the situation. Varitek, Johnny [Damon], I wanted to tell them how happy I am for them, the way they're playing. [Doug] Mirabelli, Trot [Nixon], [Curt] Schilling, all those guys, I miss them a lot." Kapler has heard about Nixon's knee injury, and his declaration that he will need surgery after the season. Could Kapler possibly make his way back to Boston? He's not thinking in those terms, he said. ''I don't doubt for one second that Trot will be on the field for the entire season," he said. ''What Trot plays through would be other players' nightmares. He's one of the toughest players I've ever met in my life." But of this, you can be sure: ''I'm coming back [to the big leagues] next season," Kapler said.
  22. Ask Bill Buckner how big a role a 1st baseman can have on a game/series/season
  23. Does this mean Kapler is coming back.........I hope so
