does anyone know what ultimately happened to dave after he was designated for assigment...I realize he had to clear waivers and then whatever..but I never heard or was able to find out what happend once the wheels of his demise were set in motion?

All I could find is from the transactions page of Red Sox.com:

"5/2/05 Purchased the contract of RHP Jeremi Gonzalez from Triple-A Pawtucket; designated 1B David McCarty for assignment."

 

The truth of the matter is though, I'm sure he could take Tino Martinez's place in New York. He could be an everyday starter there. Yankees suck.

I have been posting sparingly as well, playing a sport doing other things after that. People will probably come back in the summer, but I can see that the board is getting better than earlier in the season.

Yeah, I used to post a lot but now my school team started like a month ago so I'm gone a lot. And I play on the town team, so I'm pretty stuffed.

 

My school record is 1-3 (Dahnit)

My town record is 2-1 (Not Bad)

Im on the schools tennis team and we have practice or a match everyday after school and I usually dont get home till after 6. I still post plenty. Anyways, our team is pretty pimp... we are 7-2, but the 2 losses were non-conference ones to two very good teams.
