Thank God for Bronson Arroyo stepping it up when the rest of the team is struggling...I said last year that he would be big for us in the future. He is a young ball player and will continue to get better every year working under Schilling. I think he will have 2 or 3 years where he will find himself in a race for the Cy Young Award..What do you think? Do you think he will keep it up, or do u see him being moved to the bullpen as the season progresses?

If he keeps carrying no-hitters through the 7th inning, then no, I don't think that he'll be moved to the bullpen. We have a few weeks to figure out the final rotation anyway. At this point in time, if all starters are up and running well, then maybe Wake will be moved to the pen.

I cant concieve of them putting God in the bullpen..No one should have to sit near alan embree..I wouldnt want our ace cavorting with pond scum like embree--his mildew migtht rub off on bronson, and that would be a crime..

 Ok, we get it. You don't like Embree....

I have doubts that Arroyo will go to the pen any time soon. The rotation may never be 100% healthy all year. If Wells comes back and continues to suck, I say sit his fat ass and not worry about all those inscentives he has coming later this year.

I have never been accused of being subtle..

anyone but bronson..I would be very surprised to see him out of the rotation anytime soon,

I like your idea about wells...

I would have said wake but he is also pitching really well..

ha our rotaions awesome but not how we thought it would be. The only problem is mirabelli would have to come in everytime wake pitches. I'm not putting down mirabelli he's great but a step down from tek.

Mirabelli can hit the ball in limited duty, but your right he's a major step down from 'Tek, I believe we should pair Shoppach with Charlie Zink this year, so we can cut Mirabelli, and bring up Shopp next year, he's hitting the ball everywhere.

Sit David Wells? He did have a streak of 15 scoreless innings, and he did shut down a very talented Baltimore team.

But you have to throw the last game out, he was clearly hurt from the beginning, Wells is a gamer who wins ball games. He should be fine, and will be a key piece of in our rotation come October. 11-3 3.22 ERA in the postseason.

But I wouldn't worry about sending anyone into the pen right now, Wells will be back before Schilling, and Schilling will be back in about 2-3 months (that's a torn tendon he has)

At this point I don't know who they should put in the Pen can't be Wake or Bronson they're pitching too good. Can't be Schilling or Wells for obvious reasons. Why not stick Miller in there untill we think he will out perform one of the other starters.

It sounds weird to say, but would the optimistic view of this situation be that none of our pitchers are 100% at the same time? This would eliminate controversy, provided they all continue to dazzle, and we'd keep winning ballagames.

This is turning out to be a weird season. While our good pitchers are injured, we still win alot, and hope isin't lost. When wells comes back he should go to the bullpen. If wakefield starts to go through a bad run put Wells back

I gotta say conjecture of this kind is a good problem to have,...I would prefer this to the yankee situation...

It's also been weird on top of that that manny is hitting 250+, and DO is hitting 260+ an our infield has 2 home runs, millar has none, and we win..and you put it altogether and we have looked good for the most part since the seaons started even great occassionally. Together with those pitiching injuries I for one am mighty proud of this year's team..It has been weird though-to be sure.

I think it migth come down to as someone said none of them ever being 100% at the same time. I hadnt heard that schilling would be out so long--why did they put him on the 15 then???

Bronso only has one year on his tract and bellhorn has 2.

Bronson is arbitration eligble for at least two more years.

Bellhorn is also arb eligble, but probably will not be offered anything, if Pedoria continues to rake in the minors.
