  1. Olerud should be in the lineup all the time down the stretch. He is more consistent. I like Millar a lot and I know he has been on a tear @ Fenway lately but Olerud has come up with some clutch hits when Tito has put him in. Not to mention Olerud is a former Gold Glove Winner, and we'll need all the defense we can get when we get into the late innings because our bullpen gives up a lot of hits. What does everyone else think?
  2. I definitely agree that Foulke must go. I was thinking that in the beginning of May. When a guy only has a fastball and a change-up, his fastball better be upper-90s. I am a huge fan of Mike Myers (as you can tell from the name i use on here ,but i think Myers is doing great just coming in the game in certain situations. We need to bring in a new guy to close, or even Mantei could close. He has good velocity. Speaking of Mantei, i havent heard much about him lately. Where the hell has he been??
  3. Foulke is not a reliable closer..we need to get rid of him..Mantei should be the closer..and Mike Myers for President!!!!!!!!!!!As for Embree, he needs to break out of this slump..I feel bad for the guy..
  4. Whats with all these girls liking Bellhorn??? He's grungy looking...Now, Mike Myers, the GodzillaKilla...now theres a stud for ya..haha...
  5. Anybody know why the Yankees fan posts on a Red Sox forum?? i was just curious..i mean YankeesRule, you dont talk s***, and thats cool so its not bothering me, i was just wondering, are there not any Yankee forums?
  6. Im thinking game 1 is gonna be a pitchers duel..low scoring, could go either way... Game 2 - Clement is gonna have to have his stuff, and hopefully we will get the bats going early so the yanks will have to turn to the bullpen... Game 3 - im predicting Wells is gonna turn his season around...We gotta be able to keep Mussina from getting in a groove tho... Olerud gonna get any playing time?? I know Millar's numbers arent good now, but just becuz a guy is slumping, you cant sit him down..that does nothing but ruin a players confidence, we gotta let him work out of it...
  7. Renteria will break out soon...its still early..as for Millar, Im a big fan of Millar's work ethic and the way he provides support for his struggling teammates...every team needs a Millar in the clubhouse to keep the spirits up...Oh yeh, and SuperManny knows his s***...i could read his posts all day!
  8. Thank God for Bronson Arroyo stepping it up when the rest of the team is struggling...I said last year that he would be big for us in the future. He is a young ball player and will continue to get better every year working under Schilling. I think he will have 2 or 3 years where he will find himself in a race for the Cy Young Award..What do you think? Do you think he will keep it up, or do u see him being moved to the bullpen as the season progresses?
  9. Im not disrespecting Bellhorn at all...he's descent, but thats about it...no one paid attention to the numbers Cabrera put up in the playoffs...plus Cabrera and Renteria would work together a lot better becuz they played together in high school or college (i forget which one) Im not hating on Bellhorn, just yet..we'll see how things go for him..I HOPE he does prove to be the best 2B in the AL, but i dont see him deserving that title yet...oh yeh, thanks for the welcome message...i might be a noob to this forum..but im far from a noob in baseball talk (esp. about the Sox)
  10. Bellhorn is a good guy but he hasnt been putting up good enough numbers to be the starting 2B for the Sox...we should have traded him for some minor league prospects and kept Cabrera to move him to 2B..Renteria and Cabrera up the middle would be a heck of a defense..And to the guy that said he was the best offensive 2B in the AL...Wow...thats saying a lot...he did make some clutch hits in last years postseason, but to say he was the best offensive 2B in the AL is just wrong...
  11. Whats up Sox fans...I've been a fan of the Sox since the 'Clemens days' ...just joined up to talk some baseball with some fellow fans...
