Wright is equal to Arroyo. More wins, better ERA, Throws faster, not as wild. Yes, Arroyo did have a nice string of wins comming down the stretch, But his ERA was still nearly 5.00. You are lucky that i am equalizing them.

Wells was either the first or second starter on the Padres last year, not sure which. He can easily be our number 2 starter.

What makes you think that Jeret Wright will get injured? He passed his 2nd Physical. If anyone is to get injured, it will be Wells.

 

1. Already has a bad back

2. Constantly Drinking

3. Not in good shape.

 

If you want to talk about re-injury, Its all Schilling. Dont give me that hooblah about Schillings doctor getting fired because of getting a D.U.I. They wouldnt fire him for that after what he did for Schilling's ankle in the post season. They fired him because he f-ed it up, he did something bad to Schilling's ankle afterword. One bad step off the mound ( fielding a bunt, over throwing, etc..) and Schillings ankle will be done for.

Whats annoying about yankee fans is that they cant seem to keep the yankee discussion to where it is appropriate. They bring it into every single thread. I'm with RSR in that I'd much rather have them gone.

Plus, wouldn't you want some friendly arguments on this site like we have been having?, And not just all Red Sox talk so its just like an information board? i'm not really satisfied, we've made moves in reaction to other moves and overpaid for guys IMO. the biggest thing left is to re sign tek, if we don't get him back we're going to be in alot of trouble.

 

 

also i know we're going to be doing more moving and shaking in regards to 1st base situation. so still alot of off season left. but my vote as of now is not satisfied.

but its all in good fun. people, i seriously think, mainly sox fans, tend to get their hatred for yankee fans to cloud their brain that they forget that its just a game.

 

i do think that a majority of the yankee fans on here do contribute information, like yanksin05 and yanksin2010 and sometimes 2090. they have a right to be entitled to their opinions so let them have them...its not like theyre going to affect u 10 years down the road.

 

anyway, the yankee fans are fine. if they annoy u, dont read their posts and dont post in response to them. i personally enjoy having them around...so i like to carry out the rivalry a bit. like i said, its all in good fun.
