i'm not really satisfied, we've made moves in reaction to other moves and overpaid for guys IMO. the biggest thing left is to re sign tek, if we don't get him back we're going to be in alot of trouble. also i know we're going to be doing more moving and shaking in regards to 1st base situation. so still alot of off season left. but my vote as of now is not satisfied.

i haven't read any of this thread, but i wanted to add my 2 cents. i'm not really sure how to feel about the clement signing. last year when we didn't get him during the nomar trade people were all pissed off. then in his last 10 starts the cubs lose 6 of them and he gets 4 losses and only 2 wins. this guy has good stuff but i'm not sold on him doing well in boston.

i didn't find the cartoon funny at all, stick to writing articles that only people from new england will like.

dirt dog sometimes breaks news a little early but he can also be off. take it for what it's worth just another rumor. personally i wouldn't care if he went to either the yanks or phils. i think he's overrated and will be another vasquez type in NY.

i was hoping they wouldn't raise the price, but who here actually thought they wouldn't. they got us by the balls and they know it. if the added revenue results in wins, then i could really care less. i'll still go to a bunch of games per year and if i can't well HDTV makes the games great to watch at home.

i think this is a good move, doug is a great back up and can be used more if need be. i think our payroll is going to be alot higher next year regardless of what the mgt says

bonds deserved it cause his numbers were just out of this world. i wish people would pitch to him more. i think he'd be a bit more exposed. i happen to think he's on the juice too but you can't really prove it and there is no way selig would ever throw this guy under the bus cause it'd kill baseball so basically he'll continue to pile up #'s until he retires which will be a season or two after he passes aaron
