Well Well Well(s)

What a tangled web we weave. We thought it was going too be :

Schilling

Pedro

Pavano

Arroyo

Wakefield

But we got:

Schilling

Wells

Clement

Arroyo

Wakefield

+ renteria and halama

- williamson and pedro

What do you think think?

Are you satisfied?

I voted yes. Theo's doin a fine job. Lets give him a .

Huh, I voted yes but it didn't register.

But yeah, I'm cool with what Theo's done so far. There will be great debate over the starting pitching, but I'm not worried. Renteria was a luxury, but if the Sox do indeed resign Tek, that will give them 2 quality prospects (H Ramirez and Shoppach) to shop for help if they think they need it.

RJ to NY is not a good thing, but there is absolutely nothing we can do about it.

How can you be satisfied with getting a old guy with a glass back, a very very mediocre clement and losing pedro? The only good move is renteria and you don't even need him.

Renteria

Lost

Caberra

Williamson

Pedro

Lowe

Renteria > Caberra

Wells

Clement > Lowe

Mantei > Williamson (he won't pitch this year)

Wtf? Williamson will pitch this year. How can you say that Matt Mantei is better than Scott Williamson, 1999 ROY? Matt Mantei was hurt last year also, what makes you think that he will do so great?

I'm not disappointed at all, and I think some people may be overrating the Yanks moves. Wells is barely older than Johnson, and although slightly less durable, I wouldn't bet the farm that Johnon will be as dominant as last year. Pavano may be slightly better than Clement, but not so much that it will hurt. Meanwhile Schilling edges out Mussina by the same amount as Pavano does Clement. The Yanks will lose Vasquez in the Johnson deal and Lieber is gone too. SO I'll take Arroyo and Wake over their currently non- existent 4 and 5 starters. While I welcome Renteria, I don't understand the move. We tell Cabrera, who I grew to love, that we can't sign him long term, and then we offer Edgar 4 years, for slightly more dough too. Unless Cabrera wanted at least five years, I don't understand that move. But, so far I've found it hard to question Theo.

im partially satisfied with what theve done. i think that wells, wake ,and clement are a # 3 starter at best so obviously we dont have a #2 starter. also id like to see them get rid of one of their first baseman because millar and dougy cant split the time.i would like them to get another sp (burnett) and sign a reliever.

I'm pretty confident (with the offense) that Wells can go 16-9 if he stays healthy. Williamson is out all year with elbow surgery.

thats a large if.

In the begining of the offseason, i thought we would have signed pavano, re-signed pedro, got varitek back easily, and be in great shape. Right now we have accomplished none of those, but i agree with how theo's handled the situation. I think we should have let pedro go earlier since he was asking for to much re$$$pect and pushed harder for pavano, thats the only thing i dont understand. I like Renteria, him and Hanley will make a great middle of the infield (if we dont trade Hanley). Wells is okay in my book, not sure how he'll do, he'll fit right in with our "idiot"-like clubhouse.

You won't admit that he has a major injury problem?

I didn't with Pedro, so why start now?

Also a bad attitude?

Same

And you still have a small dick :P

Well, you're in denial. Anyway I'm not the one who needs tweezers to take a piss.
