Dustin Pedroia

Meet the AFL greatest player (in our system at least)

Joking aside, we still have life, albeit it is on support. If Lowe wins tonight, and Petey can beat Mussina we are right back in it. So don't give up until the last out.

If you think about it, this team won 101 games (so far) this season including the playoffs. It's been a good year, regardless of the outcome of this series. That said, we are home, let's see some good old fashion ass woopin by the Sox today and send Pedro off into FA tomorrow with a big "Thank You" cheer.

It clearly is one thing to build a winning team and another to build a team to beat the MFY. Schilling said it all before the playoffs when he said he can't just pitch good he has to pitch great. I expect the Sox to turn it up tonight out of anger, at least I hope so.

He better not be going to the Yankees.

This team has won 4 straight before, I think they can do it again. We've seen their pitchers once already, and I believe we can adjust. The Pats won, so maybe the "idiots" will be inspired to win.

I hate to say it. I never thought the YANKEES could sweep the Red Sox. I said if the Yanks win Game 3 that they are gonna sweep, so let's go Yanks. Hoping for a Astros vs. Yankees series.

I'm sure they've won 4 straight before, but 4 straight against this Yankee team, the way they're playing right now, is quite unlikely. However, I admire your steadfastedness and loyalty, keep the faith. I know the Sox aren't out of it til it's over.

What kind of odds do think Vegas would have given me on this proposition:

The Red Sox' best starter in the ALCS will be Derek Lowe.

Well, it's a bit subjective so maybe they wouldn't have gone for it, but...

No, Yeszir, if they win they salvage a tiny, microscopic bit of dignity. And incidentally they keep their tiny, microscopic chances alive. But either one would be sufficient reason to win.

i'm not going to lie, i've ALMOST given up. our pitching staff is drained. i hope for a win so i can see pedro pitch again this season.
