In 1916 the sox beat the Brooklyn dodgers in the world series, which entailed games at Fenway. I'm not sure about since then though. But yes, they have played here then.

Oh, and welcome to the site.

The Dodgers visit Fenway this weekend, so I was wondering how much time had passed since the Brooklyn/LA team last played in the great park.

I would love to see Eric Gagne pitch in person. I think he's the single most dominating pitcher since Nolan Ryan.

Let's just hope it's in the bullpen warming up, or else you would otherwise see Gagne when the Sox are losing. We can't have that !!!

The 1916 World Series home games (games 1,2 & 5) for the Red Sox were played in Braves Field to handle the crowds demanding to see the games. And the Dodgers were known as the Robins at that time. No game were played in Fenway Park in the 1916 WS.

The Dodgers have never played at fenway. This will be their first trip. The Dodgers did play two games in Boston in the 1916 World Series. Both of those games were played at Braves Field however, where seating capacity was greater.

Yeah, we just kinda got that from Hoss, but hey, no worries.
