Abreau’s defense and arm are premium every day for sure!!!!
  2. Larry Cook
Exactly! Even to this day , pitching is just starting to be replenished at the lowest levels. but I will say this, hang’em Chaim has an eye for talented middle infield hitters!

I would have made that trade in a heartbeat.

I agree, I think Bergman is here for 3 years! But we still got 155 games to play this year, I think the infield lineup is set this year, and with Mayer, Hamilton and romy, I feel the depth is legitimate. Props to bres-slow because I am not sure I could have said that last year!!!

I am happy if we just win every series!!!!

Everybody loves opening day!!!!! uberstine - another offseason removed from ucl surgery. mullins - showed decent stuff last year. Not sure about command and control though

Worcester offense totally shut down today by a pitcher named “junk”!

I think bres-slow and company made it a point to increase depth this season! With a 162 game season, you know injuries are inevitable!!! Last year, we lacked depth, this year. I feel a lot better about our ability to survive injuries. Especially in the rotation and bullpen.

I think the bullpen is absolutely killing it this year thus far!! I cannot under estimate the great job they have done keeping us in games.
  10. Larry Cook
I think Mayer has to prove he can hit off speed and breaking balls at Worcester before he gets called up

I always thought houck should be a closer for us!!

Dobbins threw a lot of meatballs Tuesday!!!

Atlanta needs an upgrade at shortstop!!!!! Maybe bres-slow can do some selling????
  14. Larry Cook
I think sometimes we over look the improvement in our defense this year. injuries can still bite us, but the depth feels better this year! we had 102 errors last year, I think! I am hopeful we slice a significant portion of those errors out of 2025!

The bats in the lineup need to continue to come out of deep freeze. the bullpen has been unbelievably great this far. Hopefully they continue to excel!!! the starters are keeping us in the game! I think we continue to struggle, but as we get healthy, I think this team start to put together winning streaks! Looks like it is going to be frustrating for a few more weeks. Then things get better

Great deal for both sides. Congrats to Campbell and bres-slow!!!

Abreau with an outfield assist today. On his way to another gold glove!! Wow!!!!!
  18. Larry Cook
Mayer with another tater today. Giolito looked pretty good.
  19. Larry Cook
I believe hang’em chaim was hired to get the team under the cap, rebuild the farm system but also remain competitive in Boston !!!! If hang’em Chaim would have invested some in pitching, he would still be here today
  20. Larry Cook
Dobbins is serving up meatballs left and right in Worcester Mayer and Grissom with taters so far
  21. Larry Cook
Bello had a great first two innings at Worcester and then imploded in the 3rd inning
  22. Larry Cook
I know newcomb is to soft tosser, but i hope we do not rush bello back to Boston!
  23. Larry Cook
If the problem is timing, then he has to see live pitching to fix it.
  24. Larry Cook
Teel off to a hot start in charlotte!!!
  25. Larry Cook
    I agree 100 percent.
