    I feel like the 2024 draft was exceptionally good as well. Montgomery is tearing it up in the white Sox minor league system. tolle has gotten national recognition, huge strike out numbers, but his stuff does not look super amazing! Clarke has amazing stuff, but struggles with command!! Could be the steal of the draft. The other 12 pitchers we drafted appear to be average at best. great job by bres-slow and company

    I have never been a fan of Sox prospect and others ranking systems. I tend to rely on my eyes after seeing the prospects for a number of times! (Pitchers are the exception, they can look absolutely and completely different game to game) last year, Portland was must watch games! The big 4, wow, very impressive. this year, Greenville is must watch for me. in Greenville, I see Anderson improving almost game by game, putting together more quality at bats, yet the prospect list fail to reflect it because the stats are not yet amazing!! He still needs to identify the spin on pitchers, but he is figuring it out and improving!! Probably should stay at Greenville for the rest of this season. and arias is getting a lot of love from the prospects list, but I see a lot of rafeala in his approach to each at bat!!! He will get promoted to Portland later this summer, the rafeala approach may come back to bite him a bit!!!!

    Don’t sleep on Anderson. His at bats are getting better and better. He still struggles to puck up the spin on the ball, but I like how he is developing this year!!!! This kid’s potential is intriguing

    We have some talented youngsters in the pipeline. And while only arias is currently as talented as Mayer, Anthony, teel, Campbell or Montgomery, if blies reaches his potential, he could be the best of the bunch!!!!

    At Worcester Garcia was 3 for 5 and Jordan was 1 for 4! at Greenville Anderson and blies both 2 for 4. With blies getting his 10th tater of the season. sadly. Arias hit streak ends! at Salem cespedes and musset both 2 for 4 with cespedes with his 4th tater of the season! Portland being beuhlered early in their game

    Perales had electric stuff, but the earliest he is coming back is 2026! early’s stuff was getting better and better! I think the coaching staff has him continuing to try to improve command and control!! I have never been a Sandlin fan, but Sandlin has impressed me a ton and he has gone from serving a ton of meatballs to now getting swings and misses!! Biggest single in season turnaround this year that I can tell!!! (I have not seen many games so I do not have a complete comparison yet) but Sandlin has looked completely different since he started throwing that cutter or splitter or weird slider for strikes!!!! I do not have the expertise to differentiate between them.

    Chris kline has suggested trading Devers to the Phillies for Andrew painter. Painter is coming off ucl surgery so that should make him enticing to bres-slow. Phillies have a hole at 3rd base. Devers behind turner and Harper is a scary lineup!! plus this trade opens up a spot for Anthony, without sacrificing any outfield defense!!!! painter should develop into a stud #2 starter, fairly quickly. Plus it helps giolita to the bullpen!!! if I am bres-slow, I am calling desperate dave tomorrow. Maybe throw in masa for free?????

    Tolle has a lot of swing and miss in his pitches! I believe the coaching staff has him throwing a lot of secondary pitches after he settles in and trying to get him to throw those for strikes!!!! I agree that he should be promoted to Portland, but I think they want him to sharpen the secondaries before promoting him!!

    I know Cora has taken a lot of heat and rightfully so!! But I seriously doubt he is calling all the shots!! Fix the rotation and this team could make the playoffs!!!!

    Crochet - legitimate number 1 starter. Ace!!! giolita - dumpster fire!! 🔥 excellent guy to include in a July trade! beaulher - mystery man!! Could be decent or could suck! Total mystery every time he takes the mound! Definite July trade bait!!! dobbins - Cinderella rookie, has pitched much better than I thought possible But when does the clock strike midnight! Bello - the nibbler is a bullpen killer!!!! Should be a bullpen star next season. not a playoff worthy rotation. extra pieces : fitts - decent stuff, needs to throw a few games in Worcester to get the arm strength and movement back! houck - currently suffering from a dead arm. Needs a full rehab schedule to start getting command and control back!!! I think this offseason, we need to make a high impact pitching trade (similar to crochet) and sign a high quality free agent pitcher, and move the average starters to the bullpen

    Anthony with his 9th tater of the season and another walk. I think he has 46 walks versus 50 strikeouts on the season !!! arias with two more hits. I think he had 13 game hitting streak going!!!! Anderson with his 2nd tater in Greenville. Justin Gonzales with two more hits and 2 RBI’s

    Crochet gets my vote as MVP thus far this season! Starting pitching quality over quantity is why we need to call Pittsburgh and make a blockbuster before Baltimore does!!!!

    Gonslaves with his first Salem tater today on a 3-1 pitch!!! freille went 1 for 2 with 2 walks. Frielli has played 1st and 3rd this year. Greenville had Anderson (two more hits today. Is over .280ba) playing first, but lugo at third. seems like we got room for freille in Greenville!!!! garcia and arias have been amazing since their promotions!!
