I think there are two issues affecting the locker room now. One needs to addressed by management and one should be handled internally! 1.) beuhler - we got beuhlered again last night and in the locker room, players know whether a guy has talent, or is injured or playing out the season. It is time for bres-slow to figure out how he is going to handle beuhler!!! 2.) shoddy defense - thus is for Cora to handle internally so there is no finger pointing or snide comments that fester and divide a locker room

Which is the lesser of two evils, buehler or houck????

I saw him pitch 3 innings the other day!! His stuff looked really good!!! Ball had movement and lots of spin!! He needs to fine tune the secondaries and then move up to Worcester!! Big time arm

There may be some degree of truth to this, after all, I think we drafted 24 pitchers in 2024! I do not know what bres-slow is planning for 2025’s draft, but I hear the Red Sox had a guy practically living at auburn this past year!!!! for what it is worth, Salem and fort Myers are almost completely bereft of anything resembling a quality starting pitcher!!!!! I hear Clarke is recovering from his blister and could make a start this week!!!

Just heard Rivera, Tolle and Brooks bannon all being promoted to Portland

Justin Gonzales is only 18 years old so I think he stays at Salem all year! I think they made a mistake by moving yophary to Greenville too soon! I watched mussett last year and he looked lost at the plate!! This year, he looks completely different!!! But he still misses too many middle in pitches to deserve a promotion in my opinion. Best to let him figure this out at Salem !

I do not see many position players moving, but I see a few pitchers moving up to the next level! early and Tolle are most obvious

Mayer at 2B sounds really good after what we saw this weekend at 2B! how do we feel about toro at first

Tolle had 21 whiffs today!!! Wow!!! Total domination!!! the kid is ready for Portland. He is not being challenged at Greenville! Same with Rivera!!!!! sogard had an 18 pitch at bat today!!!!! Wow!!!!

Dobbins has exceeded all my expectations this season. Number 2 behind narveaz!!! very sad for the kid indeed!!

There are 3 sides to every story! And in the case of the Red Sox, those 3 sides are Henry, bres-slow and Cora!! 1.) Henry wants a program that wins and has a yearly sustainable winning foundation within economic constraints!!!! and I believe this is the instruction he passed along to bres-slow!! 2.) bres-slow understands the direction issued by Henry, but also understands that while the team must be built on pitching, defense and timely hitting; chemistry is super key to wins and you cannot win with locker room cancers!! This red Sox team has been described by journalists all year as not being cohesive and up until now, that has been accurate. The important thing is bres-slow is cutting out the cancer and building a real team again !!!! 3.) Cora wants to win now, even though he had a new three year deal, he got caught up in a chance to win now! Unfortunately, injuries and miscommunication by the front office left him on an island!! I believe he has since bought back into the organization’s vision, and has checked his ego at the door and is finally able to bring the locker room together as a cohesive unit!! there are more changes to be made, this roster is lacking two quality starters, but the Red Sox are starting to feel like a team again and not a collection of players!! we got a ton of first and second year players and that means ups and downs for the rest of the year, but I think bres-slow has a vision for executing Henry’s plan!!!! Is bres-slow perfect?? No, not by a long shot! Bringing up Campbell, especially after a a tough training camp and all the errors early in the season, must have upset the pitchers and the locker room, but bres-slow has fixed it and would have fixed it earlier if not for bregman’s injury! I feel better about the “compete” of this team than I did back in March and I still think, we can make the playoffs this year!!!

Dobbins to the DL with elbow strain!! Ouch!!!

Uberstine’s stuff is decent at best! But definitely better than stock or Kelly’s fitts biggest problem is two find: first, he does not have a go to pitch to put batters away!! And second, he does not induce many ground balls!!! Kansas City should trade for Fitts, he fits their ballpark perfectly!!!

Hicks and Murphy looked rough today. Garcia with his 7th tater for Worcester

Sandlin with a no hitter threw 5 innings

Bres-slow’s main contribution to pitching appears to be getting pitchers to stop throwing 4 seam fastballs and instead throw breaking balls

Fitts on his way to San Francisco! Buehler may be going to the DL again!!!

Bregman starting to ramp up baseball activities! It would be nice to have his bat back in the lineup!

Hang’em Chaim is a beast at bringing in talented position players!!! But absolutely terrible with pitchers!!! hang’em Chaim is why we have a huge hole at the number 2 and number 3 spots in our current rotation!!!

Maybe we keep story and move him to 2nd base when Bregman comes back,

Dude, we have to figure the bres-slow will figure a way to move story along!!!

Atlanta still needs a shortstop and we got one they might like when Bregman is healthy again. and we can throw in a beuhler for free

At least we did not trade for him !!!! Dude should pitch wrapped in bubble wrap

Chris fragile put on the DL for a fractured rib!!! I guess that talk of Atlanta trading him to the Red Sox caused the injury

The needs are obvious, a number 2 rotation pitcher, a number 3 rotation pitcher, and maybe another bullpen arm! the trade pieces and prospects we have are numerous and talented! The only three untouchables are Anthony, Mayer and crochet! I think bres-slow can add the missing pieces and keep building the chemistry this team is developing getting better with every player he adds!!
