I think there is decent demand for Duran! but Duran is only going to be able to get us a reliever and maybe a prospect! However if we add fitts and another quality prospect to Duran, I think we can get alcanterra from Miami

Let’s discuss what we have to offer! First: The easiest pieces for bres-slow to move are players on expiring contracts! We have five players (Chapman, Wilson, giolita, buehler and refsynder) that fit that criteria and should be easy to move! &nbsp Second: Quality relatively cheap players with years of control! Duran, abreau, cassas, Wong, rafeala, Whitlock, and Hamilton! Third: quality prospects. We got tons of them!!! let’s discuss what we want: 1.) quality starting pitching with years of control! A few names come to mind, skenes, alcantarra, and woo, but there are several others as well!!!!! 2.) quality reliever that can handle high leverage situations! To acquire a quality starter and reliever, bres-slow will have to overpay! The more years of control, the more the overpay will be!!! I would love to trade for alcanterra at the trade deadline, if Bailey can fix him! this offseason, we should go all in on skenes, only Mayer, narveaz and Anthony are off limits

Uberstine threw some filthy pitches today!!! I know the command is still not where we need it to be, but the stuff was impressive today

We have a ton of trade capital to make this happen! I know bres-slow had bad luck with trading for relievers last trade deadline!!! Let’s hope he gets it right this time. I do not know what morvani or possibly Sandoval adds but trading for a quality reliever seems the better path! we got abreau, Bregman and Houck potentially back in the next 30 days or so!!! add another quality starter via trade in addition to the quality reliever and we got a chance to make the playoffs

Some of Cora’s decisions are baffling. Bringing in Kelly or guerrero or stock when the game is not out of reach???? we really need two more quality relievers for our bullpen!!!

There is a huge negative impact on teams that routinely allow opponents extra outs!! I know our defense has cost us a few games! but leading baseball in blown saves, that’s especially painful!!!!
