    Keller is at best a good replacement for Fitts in the rotation!! can bres-slow put together a strong enough package to pry gore away from Washington???

    Tolle is a one pitch pitcher from what I have seen. The secondaries are inconsistent at this point!!! I think the Sox will put him on the same program as early. After he settles in to the game, the second time through the lineup, he throws a ton of secondary stuff

    Early went 5.2 innings. 3 hits. 1 earned run on a tater, zero walks and 6 strike outs. 18 swing and misses on 73 pitches. Wow!!!!

    This offseason, with 1 trade and 1 free agent signing, our 2026 starting rotation could be: 1.) crochet 2.) skenes 3.) cease 4.) bello 5.) dobbins houck, uberstine, drohan, tolle and early as depth!!!!

    Tolle went 4 innings today. He gave up 3 hits and one of the hits was a tater. He walked 1, gave up 2 earned run and struck out 5. He had 15 swing and misses on only 64 pitches!!!

    With Valera and Peaz going to the 60 dl, and the 60 day dl is already almost full with mostly pitchers, I think I see why hang’em Chaim was stockpiling only bats on our system!!! pitching is fragile and needing almost 2 years to recover from UCl surgery is brutal on a farm system But I do think bres-slow needs to balance his drafting going forward!! Or soon we will be position player deficient!! (Think our current catching situation in the minors! although signing quality free agent hitters is easier than quality free agent pitchers

    Valera is 19! No one knows if he develops into a major leaguer! He has better stuff and control than winkleman, but that is not a guarantee!! When Valera is pitching well, he is amazing!!! witherspoon is a wait until 2026 decision. He should start in Greenville and be in Portland by June!!! I watched Witherspoon go toe to toe with Kade Anderson this past season and he kept the lsu hitters off balance for a while, but eventually the relentless lsu line up ate him up!!! But I was super impressed by the kid at his fight and determination in that game!!!

    I do not think that our farm system failed! I think first and third were neglected by hang’em Chaim’s intense focus on middle infielders! if yorke had developed, he would be the starting 2B, but unfortunately for us, yorke never developed into the player hang’em Chaim thought he was. This caused bres-slow to rush Campbell to Boston, after a putrid spring and in hindsight that was a poor decision!!! sadly, I think all 6 position players we took in the 2025 draft were middle infielders or outfielders!!!!

    I for one am not sold on Tolle yet!! The velocity on the fastball is insane and the low arm angle gives it a deception and wicked movement that hitters cannot seem to pick up!!! This is a great pitch to get hitters out!!! But after you get past the fastball, can he get consistent strikes with the secondary pitches??? the jury is still out for me!!

    Valera and Clarke and pre injury perales have amazing stuff!!! Witherspoon has a funky delivery. Should be interesting to see if the Sox tinker with it

    Texas is a game under .500 and technically still in the wild card race, but they have 2 pitchers I think we need, eovaldi and Martin!! would bres-slow be able to put together an offer that Texas would take??? crochet eovaldi giolita bello fitts beuhler houck

    The 2025 college pitchers on day 2, may be actually worse than the 2024 day 2 college pitchers we took!!!

    We definitely got some talented players coming in!! ButI would hate to kill a kid’s dream because of the reserve list!!! hard decisions ahead for bres-slow!!!

    The twins have a reliever named Jax (I think) he throws a decent ball! Maybe he is the 8th inning guy we lacked with slaten blowing a gasket again!!!

    A writer suggested we trade Duran to San Diego for salas and moonhorn! then we flip those two to the twins plus Fitts and arias for Ryan!!!
