Price threw a whale of a game tonight. With sale pitching lights out and the three "P"s figuring it out, all we need is to get Rodriguez back to form and we should have a formidable rotation for the rest of the year. If we add a Robertson as the eight inning guy, the bullpen could be special as well, provided abad goes away.

Isn't Frazier only hitting .213?

That's is the thinking that with a little velocity kick, his stuff plays better in a limited role and maybe he becomes a 7th or 8th inning lefty.

I was thinking we trade for Frazier and Robertson from the white sox for abad and prospects not named Devers. Then trade Kimbrel to the nationals for Robles, Fedde and turner.

Really hope Johnson gets a shot instead of throwing fister back out there. They could always send Maddox back down and bring up Johnson.

Beeks has to be better as a lefty reliever than abad. Let's trade abad for Frazier.

Putting playoff race pressure on a 20 year old seems too much to ask. But if Devers continues to hit well at Pawtucket, he deserves a September call up. Today's offensive showing is beyond putrid. We have got to get a leader with some power, because right now too many of our hitters are sitting around waiting some someone else to step up.

Beeks threw a nice game last night. He has no put away pitch, but continues to get hitters out. If he continues to throw well, I wonder if he gets a September call up.

I like the idea of hitting bogey lower in the order. I think hanley is playing with one good shoulder and should probably be on the dl.
