    What? Did you actually watch Porcello throw the ball last year or just read the box score? He was horrible and uninjured! Time to let Porcello be someone else’s problem!

    Except for philly, Yankees fans are the worst. So much of a Yankees fan’s entitlement is based on past glory.

    Amen brother! I could not agree more. We need to move Martinez and price. Then bring in two starting other pitchers neither of which is named Porcello.

    If the braves had Mookie, they would be World Series favorites. Question is, will they push all their chips to the middle of the table and do whatever it takes to get him?

    We had his bat in the middle of the lineup all last year and how far did we go? Think pitching!

    All the more reason why teams need productive minor systems that can crank out quality pitching and hitters. Ours is above average with hitters and bullpen pitchers, but rock bottom in supplying starters.

    Welcome to the world of guaranteed contracts. Hang’em Chaim just needs to move price and Martinez and figure out what do to with all the sore armed pitchers that desperate Dave went out of his way to collect.

    It is very depressing to go to an Atlanta - yankees game in Atlanta and see more yankee gear than Atlanta gear, However, it is really cool to go to an Atlanta - Red Sox game and see 70 percent of the crowd is Red Sox fans. Feel like a home game just without the loud mouths in the upper deck!

    Hang’em chiam needs to figure out how to move price and Martinez. After that, we can fill from the bargain free agent shelf.

    I saw may pitch and loved his stuff. Better than just about anything in our desolate farm system. That would be a great trade. Ps: We may need to throw in a decent prospect or two to make this trade work.

    Not sure he has done squat yet to have earned that right! Right now he continues to revamp the analytics department. Not sure what comes of that, but it’s hard evaluate all the chatter coming in from o’halloran unless he can process the data properly.

    We call Texas and tell them that we have heard the rumors of them wanting price. We agree to trade them price for an average rookie league prospect, but they got to take Martinez and choke on all the salaries!

    Congrats to Ben! Except when they okay us, I wish them all the best. If Ben is looking to load Pittsburgh up with some long term bad contracts and sore armed pitchers, then he needs to call “hang ‘em chiam”. Have we got a deal for you, Ben!!!!

    Interestingly enough, no rumors of Larry involved in any of that roster building exercise. We literally went from Ben, who over valued prospects..... to desperate Dave, who vastly undervalued prospects. And oh by the way, desperate dave left us with a non-playoff team and the worst minor league system in baseball. Now “hang ‘em chiam” has to trade our way to respectability. Can he get more than 30 cents on the dollar for any of our sadly depressed assets?

    I would trade Betts straight up for syndergaard. But why would the Mets do that deal?

    What a terrible contract any of those options would be. Let’s hope it is not “hang ‘em chiam” signing any of those potential contracts. Let Betts go to Atlanta after he has a great 2020 for us.
