At Salem, blaze with two taters for a total of 6 on the season! Kavadas is currently two for two with two walks. The dude is imitating granberg as an in base machine.
-
At Portland, reed with his 3rd tater of the season, Something might have happened to Rafeala, he left the game!
-
How is Cora not a raging alcoholic? These 9th innings are brutal. I do out know what the record is for runs surrendered in the 9th inning for a season, but we have to be on pace to destroy it!
-
At Worcester Fitzgerald with his 12th tater of the season. And Seabold threw a nice game today, At Greenville, binelas with his 13th tater of the season and decker with his 5th tater of the season thus far in that game.
-
There is really just two super weak links, brazier and Robles. And two semi weak links, swaumura and Davis.
-
Why is Robles still on this team? The cardinals should send him a thank you card after his performance tonight!
-
At Salem, hickey with two taters on the night for a total of 6 on the season. And Kavadas with his 11th tater of the season, plus two more walks.
-
I think our offense at the two single a teams has been pretty good, and the starting pitching at the two upper level teams has been decent. Bullpens at all levels has been scary.
-
No lead is safe with this bullpen. 6 to 1 lead up on the cardinals and then the bullpen screws it up.
-
Kavadas with his 10th tater on the season for Salem. Dalton with his 4th tater of the season for Portland. Ramos with his 5th tater of the season for Worcester.

The Way Too Early Tear Down Thread
Larry Cook replied to jacksonianmarch's topic in Boston Red Sox Talk
Those teams (and add the braves in as well) do an incredible job of: First- evaluating potential prospect in terms of how the potential prospect would fit their systems. Second - developing the prospects they acquire, regardless of position. Third - trading off prospects that don’t have a proper path or profile for their major league team. Hang’em Chaim and staff have shown a tremendous scouting eye on contact and power hitters. Our minor league system is fairly deep in those areas. The Sox minor league rebuild is years from being complete, but, I think, well ahead of where I thought we could get in a few short years. -
Can you please post the names of the crummy players at the bottom of our 40 man roster?
-
Isn’t command of the secondary pitches one of the last things to return after Tommy John?
-
Mata, winkleman and Bello are just about the only pitchers in our minor league system with electric stuff. Some of the others might have one “plus” pitch, but nothing with the wow factor.
-
Northcut with his 21st tater of the season for Greenville. Mieses with his 6th tater and downs with his 11th tater for Worcester. Paulino with his 5th tater and Kavadas with his 9th tater on the season. Kavadas also with two more walks tonight!

Time For the Hypo Trade Talks to Begin ?
Larry Cook replied to vegasbob's topic in Boston Red Sox Talk
If Hang’em Chaim can get bednar from the pirates, that would be a tremendous win for us! -
Groome with 7 innings pitched. Two hits, four walks, zero runs and 5 strike outs! Pretty impressive!
-
Lugo with his 9th tater of he season.
-
Albies got hurt. Maybe we could move arroyo to atlanta for a decent prospect.
-
It was also reported that because he could not grip the ball properly, he was just aiming and not throwing.
-
Rafeala with his 2nd tater of the night, 4th at Portland and 13th on the season.
-
In Portland, Rafeala with his 3rd Portland tater and 12th overall. Castellaneous with his 8th tater of the season. Groome with 5 innings pitched. Two hits, two walks and zero runs given up. 3 strike outs.
-
Bello with 5 innings pitched. 1 run given up, 3 hits (one of the hits was a meatball that he served up) 1 walk and 8 strike outs!
-
If there is one level of minor league baseball that separates the men from the boys, it is double a. By September, we will know a lot more about Rafaela. Ps: anybody think that maybe Hang’em Chaim promoted the kid early to use rafeala as a trade chip that another team might over value?
-
I thought the press reported that he had trouble gripping the ball.
