Winkowski and Seabold have better stuff than some of our current relievers. I would like to see them get a chance to upgrade our bullpen, but not if the major league balls are indeed slicker than minor league balls and they struggle to grip the ball properly, that would put them in a situation where they can’t succeed!

Mayer with his 4th tater of the season for Salem today! Scott with his 3rd tater of the season for Greenville today! If he continues hitting, maybe we move Mayer to Greenville for the week of july 4th. He is not being challenged much at Salem.

We are up 5-4 in the 6th-7th at Seattle and Cora brings in brazier! What was he thinking? Hang’em Chaim has to get us a couple quality set up guys before the trade deadline. This is so painful to watch.

Story has been doing really well at second base. If bogey leaves, maybe we sign turner or Swanson as the starting shortstop.

Houck looked a bit shaky in his save opportunity. Gave up a hit and a scorcher that story caught. But I was happy he had a successful first save chance.

Bello got off to a bit of a rocky start giving up 2 runs in the first. Then 5 shut out innings pitched. After 6 innings, three hits, 3 walks two runs given up, one meatball served up and 8 strike outs!

Reed with his first two taters of the season tonight for Portland. Dearden with his 2nd tater of the season. Rafeala (who should be in the top 100 prospect list) with his 1st Portland tater of the season! (His 10th tater on the season overall! He is 3 for 4 thus far. A triple away from a Portland cycle!

Austin Davis is throwing the ball much better this year than last. I am shocked at the movement in his pitches.

Hang’em Chaim is amazingly patient when it comes to players. He gives them proper time to figure it out, Probably one of his least publicized traits. -
