Injuries were across the board this year, starters, relievers and position players. Even top minor leaguers, cassas, yorke and Mayer missed time with injuries. The question has to be asked, where did we get our medical staff and trainers from….. wal-mart?

I think we need to resign Pham in the offseason.

Option #3 is the most logical path. 1.) turner is decent defense. Bogey not so much. 2.) turner is slightly better offense. 3.) there is no guarantee that Mayer makes it to the majors. Or he could be used as part of a trade package. 4.) once bogey opts out, we got a ton of money coming off the books!

I’d be ecstatic if Hang’em Chaim ever traded for mediocre relievers. Except for an exception or two, mediocre would be a huge upgrade for him! Ps: hang’em Chaim should grab every yankee pitcher that comes available via the rule 5 draft!

Rafeala is just about the only plus defender is our minor league system. His k rate and walk rate will determine a lot about his future.

It is nice that we are starting to get some of the vast multitude of injured players back. Story and houck would add a ton to our lineup, Refsynder, danish and kike are currently rehabbing now.

We have traditionally not rushed prospects to the majors. We have a process and each prospect has to complete certain personalized objectives in order to get promoted to the next level. (Injuries aside that is) Previously this had worked really well with position and bullpen players. But been really bad with starters. Hang’em Chaim has over the past three drafts shown a propensity for drafting two types of prep players, huge contact guys and power guys. I expect us to continue to with our plan and three years from now, we should start to regularly graduate quality prospects.

At Portland, Refsynder with two taters and binelas with his 9th Portland tater of the season! Bello started this game. Went 3 and 2/3, gave up 1 run on two hits, no Walks and 6 strikeouts!
