  1. We need a closer bad. The 22 bullpen blew about half their save opportunities. We can not have another year of that type incompetence, Hang’em Chaim has proven completely incompetent in two areas: 1.) building competent bullpens. 2.) drafting pitchers early in the draft. He needs to fix number 1 this offseason or we are so screwed for 23.
  2. Rule 5 draft coming up: 3 pitchers that might interest Hang’em Chaim are: Murray, grammes and Sikkima.
  3. 4 step plan to get back to the playoffs: 1.)sign Correa (replace bogey and has a great relationship with Cora); 2.) sign stndergard and kubler (starting pitching depth) 3.) trade for a power right fielder that can play good defense 4.) secure a closer for the bullpen
  4. We have a lot of middle infield prospects in our system and very light on quality outfielder and pitching prospects.
  5. Happy thanksgiving everybody.
  6. Devers, yorke and winkleman to the angels for othani.
  7. What would it take to sign deGrom to a three or four year deal. 140 million or 175 million? Or does degrom’s violent delivery means he will continue have arm troubles in the future?
  8. This offseason, Hang’em Chaim has payroll flexibility he never had previously. He has a fairly well stocked minor league system as trade chips. He has a plethora of quad “a” guys to trade. He has serious needs; 1.) sign Correa (Cora’s buddy) and let bogey fly. 2.) sign at least two or three quality starters. Thor, wacha and hill? 3.) trade for a right fielder with power. 4.) get a closer for the bullpen and sign a couple scheibner type guys. This is the offseason, that Hang’em Chaim gets thrown into the deep end of the pool, if he does not come out the deep end in a yacht, it might be time for him to go back to Tampa.
  9. Yorke with a grand tater in arizona!
  10. These choices are weak. Let’s discuss trade options!
  11. I see the highlights posted on various sites.
  12. He got some juicy pitches to hit. Hope he keeps it up.
  13. Atlanta is ahead of the curve. Hang’em Chaim crashed and burned not knowing there was a curve!
  14. Just say “yes” to signing turner! Payroll sits at around $116k. Plenty of room for turner!
  15. I really hope you are correct. I think boras and bogey got some sort of a deal worked out with another team and Hang’em Chaim knows what he has to pony up to keep bogey! We need a high end starter, closer, short stop (if bogey leaves) and a right fielder.
  16. I did not get to see him play live in 2022, but I did in 2021 and his bat to ball skill is very high end, if not tops in our minor league organization! I think if he had been healthy and focused more on contact and less on taters, he would have had a better on base percentage than Kavadas!!!!
  17. Count me in as a huge fan of Bello! His stuff is electric and if he gets consistency with command and control, he will be an annual 12 to 16 game winner.
  18. Yorke is currently playing in the arizona fall league and hitting .300 after three games. He had a really tough year with the multiple wrist injuries. I am hopeful that he comes back next year and blows the doors off Greenville and gets to Portland by the end of may.
  19. There is no doubt desperate Dave decimated our farm system during his tenure. However, I am pumped about what Hang’em Chaim is in the process of building with our minor league position players. Greenville, Salem and the Florida rookie team were stacked with quality position players. Mayer and blies have a chance to be high end, all star game changers. Yorke, Romero, Anthony, Brannon, lugo, bonaci, and a couple others have a chance to be solid major leaguers. Very exciting time and I am hopeful Hang’em Chaim keeps building. We probably get the 14th pick in the draft and should get a really quality prospect.
  20. That is a pretty impressive group! I think we are linked to 2 of the top 50 on international free agents for the next signing period.
  21. The guy at fansided daily came out with his top 30 sox prospects. There was really bizarre stuff in it but he got the top 2 correct.
  22. And turner would be worth every penny of it!
  23. Turner!!!!!! Number 1 target this offseason. Bar none. We desperately need turner. Ps: there has to be other options for right field than these guys. Hang’em Chaim may need to be creative and examine the trade route!
  24. I thought something was wrong with his ankle. He has been pitiful since around early July.
  25. No! Training regiments are designed around specific players and when not executed properly, the chance for injuries increase exponentially.
